Fatburger Gateway

We came by late in the evening for late dinner and drive-through was empty. We ordered 3 burger meals and unfortunately we sat at the window for almost 40 mins. If I didn't spend the $50 on the meal I would have left, but we have not had Faburger in a while so we waited. There was no one behind us or ahead of us so I don't know why the long wait. The burgers were good.. bun was good, its a fried burger so it was quite greasy.. sort of like five guys. But it did have lots of flavour. The fries were not so great.. they got very hard very quickly as they cooled down so they must have been very greasy. I"d love to try another location at another time of day to see if the service would be better. Overall it was good and ranks #9 on my sons burger list. 1. Hero 2. The Works 3. Home made 4. Webers 5. First time going there as a family was a very bad experience. We went through the drive-thru and order the most basic 3 combo meal all with a burger, yam fries and a drink. They got our order completely wrong and we received 2 burgers, 2 yam fries, and one plain fries. And they got all our drinks wrong. I think this was clearly because the lady taking our order had such a thick accent that we couldn’t understand her, and she couldn’t understand us. I pulled over and went inside to straighten out our order which we did end up getting. The bun was soggy because they didn’t dry the lettuce, there was a disgusting amount of mayo, the fries were unseasoned and the chipotle mayo dipping sauce was legit thousand island dressing. All I can say is bad first impression Fatburger.
