Antique Bar

One of my favourite places. I love the atmosphere. Some parts, especially the little back room, remind me of an exclusive club where secret business deals are conducted over a snifter of Cognac. During winter, they offer a mulled wine, which is delicious and this year are now offering a mulled ginger beer too, which is just as delicious. There is always a small but interesting selection of craft beers on tap, along with a large selection of bottled beer, wine, spirits, and cocktails. If you have never been, do yourself a favour and give it a go.

Our new fave! What a fabulous local bar this is. Everything is right about this place - the vibe, the music, the huge array of cocktails (delish chocolate martinis!) and wines, the amazingly friendly staff, yeah, everything! We got here around 11pm on a rainy Saturday evening and it was lively with a great crowd. Can't wait to go back - even the food is yum - try the meatballs!

What a cosy, atmospheric spot! My friend and I stopped after an exercise class in our ordinary workout clothes but were treated so kindly by the staff. Table service is such a treat these days. I especially loved all the numerous fireplaces as it was a chilly night. My mulled wine was delicious and reasonably priced. I will be back with more friends!

My friend and I really enjoyed our time at Antique Bar. Cocktails were super tasty (we definitely recommend the cheesecake cocktail, and the cocktail of the month which was peanut butter 🍰🥜). The place has a lovely intimate ambience and is great for a nightcap. I stupidly left my bag at the bar, but thankfully staff were very helpful in locating and returning it to me (despite the bar being closed that day)! Highly recommend 🌟
