This place has good atmosphere so it’s perfect place for date or celebrating anniversary. The staffs were very friendly and nice! I’ve been here twice time but I think the food is soso compared with the price.

My family was there Saturday March 12 to celebrate my birthday. For the 4 out of 5 steaks that were ordered they were very rare when ordered we all said medium and they were rare nobody said said nothing about that and my steaks had a lot of fat on it that got taken care of. My point is if you are going to have a fancy restaurant make sure you know how to cook Ed steaks especially for all the overpriced food and not to have coke products.

Atmosphere very nice. I don't mind paying for a good steak but prices to high for quality of food. Service was very slow so make sure you have time!

Ordered prime rib my wife had salmon and daughter got ribeye. Quite frankly the prime rib was tough and the ribeye was dry. For the price look elsewhere kind of disappointed in the quality of the food this time.

Ate 12/26/2020 with dinner reservation at 6PM. Expected restaurant to be pretty empty but there were about 15 other tables filled, but still nice atmosphere. Fantastic food as always and great service. Some menu items have been removed since our last visit due to coronavirus, including the crème brûlée dessert we wanted to try. (What you see on the online menu is accurrate). We instead had a chocolate lava cake that was delicious. I got the 22oz bone-in ribeye medium rare and it was cooked to perfection. An absolutely melt in your mouth steak. Makes Texas Roadhouse look like McDonald's in comparison! We also loved the spinach & artichoke dip as our appetizer. The lobster mac & cheese side was great as well.
We were happy to hear the bar piano being played this evening as a nice touch. Cavanaugh's really provides such a nice atmosphere and dining experience, you feel like a million bucks. We'll be back!

The turtle cheesecake was to die for yum yum.Everything was delicious but the steak is definitely overpriced and the one at the tap house is a better steak just being honest better value for the money at the tap house in the casino Tropicana Evansville Indiana.

If you don’t order a steak you doing yourself a disservice. Came here on a weeknight for some drinks and dinner before hitting the casino and was very please with the service and large selection of steak and sides (scalloped potatoes are a must)The live music at the bar was a great complement to the excellent dinner. Will definitely be back if I am in a town again.

Excellent service, from the hostess, to our server, to any if the staff we interacted with. Joanne was amazing! If you are looking for a great romantic date spot, this is it. The live piano playing set the ambience perfectly.
