The Log Inn

The food was very good! The fried chicken is crispy on the outside while tender and juicy on the inside. I love the family style way of passing the bowls of sides amongst your party. Even with a large group, it makes it feel like a more intimate family dinner. The only downsides to this experience were the waiting and the fact that they do not accept any form of payment other than cash. They do have an ATM in the lobby area for those who aren't aware of that, but it is a bit inconvenient. As for the waiting, our party of 13 had a 7:30pm reservation. We were seated pretty quickly, but it took 10-15 minutes just for our server to bring our drinks. Once we had ordered our food, it took an hour for our food to come. There was nothing on or brought to the table to snack on during that time either. Eventually one of our group asked about getting some rolls while waited. Our server was fantastic! She kept updating us on where our orders were on the next list as well as keeping drinks refilled and apologizing for the length of the wait. When the food came, she kept the family bowls filled for us. We had finished our meal and were leaving by around 9:30. The wait was worth it because the food and experience was wonderful.

I wonder why there are still managers running places with waiters who hate Latinos. The first time we ate at this place it was wonderful: good food...good service. Today, we had the worst service ever...sad, because for some reason the lady who was 'helping' us to order the food was in a rush trying to guess what we wanted to eat and pushing us to get dessert at her pace - it will be that there is an exact time to eat. Do not ask! Theresa, I'm pretty sure you go to places where you are the customer, I hope you have the blessing of being served by someone more professional than you.

Took mom for her birthday. My wife and I love the place. I've never seen my mother eat so much. She really enjoyed everything. Fried chicken, mashed tators, corn, peas, white gravy and rolls. I got livers, they are very good also. And of course we had to get a coconut pie to take home. Would highly recommend the Log Inn for awesome food. Get there early or you will be way out in the parking lot waiting.

Fantastic family style restaurant with delicious food. The best part? Theres always more to take home for leftovers! The context of my last visit is as follows: We put our name down for a reservation of 10 people, but somehow got misplaced. It happens, and we understand. The thing that surprised us was the amount of kindhearted apologies and the speed at with the restaurant was able to seat and feed 10 people that they didn't expect was surprising. They checked in frequently and made sure we were doing well. All in all a 10/10 friendly and tasty place.
