Smitty's Italian Steakhouse

Smitty's redeemed itself. Service has always been good but the kitchen seemed to struggle for a while. However, tonight was not the case. The food was delicious! Highly recommend adding bacon to the Black Jack Chicken sandwich. If you are ordering a side make sure you get the Cream Spinach, phenomenal. Will definitely be back!

My husband and I were in town on a small romantic weekend getaway. Doing a Google search for a romantic atmosphere, & because I wanted Italian and my husband was thinking of a good steak, this place popped up. From the minute we pulled up outside of the door, we were impressed! We walk in and are greeted immediately and seated at a table in its own little cubby. That's when we met Micah!! From start to finish, this man was ON POINT in his customer service and waiting on our table. Our glasses never ran dry. He stayed and made suggestions when I couldn't pick, telling us his favorites and what he thought we would love. We haven't had a server like Micah in a very long time. We ordered the 22 ounce porterhouse steak, side salad, and fettuccine for my husband. Potato skins for appetizers. And Chicken Parm, a side of chicken florentino soup, and a side of meatballs. The food was amazing! We both took our leftovers home. Thank you for a beautiful atmosphere and incredible service. We will be back, and GIVE MICAH A RAISE! That boy deserves it!!

Omg!!! The steak was cooked to perfection. The pasta and bread pudding is to die for. Kate was the best waitress we've ever had. She never let the drinks run low, she was very helpful with what to order, she always came and checked on us at the right time (never with my mouth full. Lol) I'd recommend smitty's to anyone looking for a great steak and pasta place. The build is beautiful and the patio has some great shade.

Went there earlier this week and got chicken parmesan and a side of meatballs. Those were very good and the servings were generous. It also came with a salad that was disappointing...like it was out of a bag. It was supposed to come with a side of pasta, but none was brought out. I should've asked, but just assumed i didn't pay attention to the menu when i ordered. Got home and went on line and it was supposed to come with pasta of the day. If it wasn't for not getting the pasta, I'd have given 4 stars. Better salad and 5 stars. Service was friendly, but the bar seating beside was not cleaned off promptly despite being an extremely slow night. Definitely a place worth trying if you haven't.

Not too bad for local Italian food. I got 5-cheese ravioli which is my go-to dish and it was pretty good. My friends got the ribeye steak and they loved it. The veal is also good from what they say. Some of the sauces for the basic pasta dishes tend to be very thin, almost watery and not as flavorful as the specialty dishes but I thought it all tasted good. The mozzarella sticks were my favorite thing I ate.

The 12oz ribeye was good The garlic mash was realllllly salty The creamed spinach was AMAZING The baked spaghetti was dry but had good flavor The caprese salad was ok The tiramisu was OUTSTANDING So as you can see kinda hit or miss We were there at 8:30ish on a Saturday night Our server Leo was SUPERB very honest and friendly and prompt Cool place although the patio can get loud from the bars across the street I like the historic insides Prices are decent too I’d go back

I wasn't exactly happy about the parking lot being confusing to get to they should have signs, not everyone is from around here. The food was delicious. The waitress was so nice and came over often. We got the porterhouse steaks and they were cooked to perfection. The Bruschetta was different but delicious and the bread pudding? I wish I could take a huge container of it home. Will come again. Have to give it 4 because of the parking confusing
