Cracker Barrel

I visited this Cracker Barrel after a doctor's appointment. I had breakfast and it was well above average for Cracker Barrel. Believe it or not, although there are many Cracker Barrel restaurants nationwide, they're not all the same. I ordered the mini pancakes and they were made to perfection. I also got a full order of bacon. The waitress (Mia) was very courteous and attentive to my needs. I highly recommend this Cracker Barrel.

Order over $60 in dinner for 3 people and dessert most of it was good until we got to the dessert. That's when we realized they only gave us 2 of the 3 peach cobblers we ordered, the other container was just filled with canned peaches filling for cobbler. Instead of letting us know they were out they just threw that in hoping we would not notice. I called back to let them know and they didn't seem to care. Then I was like you charged me for something I didn't get so... and they said I could drive all the way back to the restaurant and pick it up if a wanted to. I said of course not because I live awhile away and couldn't come get it. I asked if there was anything else they could do and they said put my name down to give me my dessert the next time I came to the restaurant. We will see if they live up to this.

The only reason I gave 2 stars was the waitress was really good and nice and the 6 baby carrots and the rolls were excellent. The food was subpar not what one would expect from Cracker Barrel. The mashed potatoes we so lumpy and no flavor at all. Country Fried Steak I have had better from a gas station. We only can here because the kids wanted to, thank goodness they won't be choosing for a while.
