What an amazing find! I call it "so not Fort Collins." The location near the college may be deceiving but the upscale, well-appointed menu is first class. The decor is rustic modern, the music and acoustics are well modulated so you can talk without screaming. We had the special which included perfectly grilled octopus with Romesco sauce, olive tapenade, basil gastrique and carrot and butternut puree. What's not to like about that? We had the pan-seared tofu with farro and it was simply amazing. Well plated and carefully thought out. The chef takes care to insure there are a variety of layered textures and the 5Ss in each dish. Our friends had the short ribs and we all enjoyed the Italian bidono for dessert. The beer and wine selections were excellent. This is fine dining in an artfully designed space. I can't wait to dine on the deck. This is a must try. It is not your usual FoCo pub food or foodie wannabe. And it is well-priced. I look forward to a return visit.

Wow. I admit, I wasn't expecting much when I first checked out Metro....but, after stopping in, I was pleasantly surprised. Each dish is expertly prepared and perfectly plated. Even the simple caesar salad looks like it should be on a foodie magazine cover. Nothing here is bland or boring. Their onion rings are one-of-a-kind. The eggplant caponata will make you swear you're eating beef. Even their Metro fries are far from the standard. This place is worth a visit. I know their location may not be "convenient" with FoCo parking - just don't let that deter you.

I haven’t experienced a place or food like this in a long time. The food is awesome and I love the layout of the restaurant. If you want to sit at a table or just chill on couch and have drink this place can accommodate, it is a comfortable place. The manager Jason and staff are wonderful and the chef Vincent makes the food taste amazing and you almost literally lick your plate it is that good.

The staff was very nice. But in total honesty, don’t waste your money. This place has priced itself out of central-north Fort Collins and the quality does not justify the expense. The staff, though nice, seemed very disorganized, and we were literally the only table in the restaurant. The kale salad was actually a spinach salad, the buns on the burger were soaking wet although it tasted good. The house made noodles were pretty good. Probably go somewhere else, spend the same amount for much better food, or spend 1/4 for similar quality.

This place had amazing flavors! They are in a super prime location and I hope they get to open their rooftop without a hitch. There's a ton of ambition behind the employees/owners and I hope this place can go far. The cocktails were made amazingly and service was prompt enough. I only have a couple of complaints... 1. There was an abundance of garlic for me and even my wife who loves garlic. 2. My grilled octopus was overcooked but, the flavors on the plate were so good I didn't care. 3. Remember that you're a new restaurant and you have a good team behind you. It takes time to make gold into a ring. Sometimes all you need is to take a deep breath, regroup and do the best you can.
