Krazy Karls Pizza

TL;DR: great, unique pizzas. Definitely check them out. We originally wanted to go to a different pizza place in town, but were unable to for a logistics reason. We found Krazy Karl’s as a last minute plan b. We had to drive around the block a couple times to find parking as the lot is not huge, so by the time we parked we assumed it would be packed inside, but we were able to be seated right away - even without a reservation! We went on a Tuesday night and they had a fun trivia night happening that we were able to listen to and play along at our table. Since it’s located right next to campus, we figured it would be a typical college bar, but we were happily surprised by the food and drink selections. It was hard to decide on pizzas to order because the menu was so fun and unique! We ended up ordering salads before our pizzas and I’m glad we did because the pizza was DELICIOUS but thick and pretty greasy. But DELICIOUS. Our server was friendly, but sometimes forgot to grab us things we needed (forks, ranch dressing), but everyone has off days and it was pretty busy so I don’t count that against them at all. If you’re in town looking for good, local pizza, I’d definitely recommend stopping by!

I went to a wedding this weekend and the caterer was a no-show. No phone call or anything. Anyway, the guests needed to eat so we ordered like 40+ pizzas from Krazy Karl's, and they arrived in a little over an hour. A genuinely impressive delivery! The pizza was very tasty as well - a good ratio of sauce to cheese to toppings. Thank you for saving my friend's wedding.

As a tourist, I originally wanted to visit Beau Jo's because it was highly recommended by others; however, that did not happen because they were closed. All I can say is, "No regrets." At Krazy Karl's Pizza, we ordered Spinach & Meaty Lasagna, The Mile High & whatever the waiter recommended, Krazy Hawaiian, and Thai Specialty & The White. We also ordered drinks. Kudos to the waiter for letting us sample some alcohol! The food was mouth-watering delicious. When you bite into your first slice of pizza, you can feel every taste and aroma within the pizza. There is also a good selection of beer. The customer service was outstanding--our waiter was very attentive, even when it was pretty busy. Would I return to Krazy Karl's Pizza? Heck yeah, I would every time.

The pizza may be tasty on occasion, but the service is ridiculous. This is the 2nd time I've ordered delivery and after waiting TWO hours (no joke) the pizza was still "on it's way". The first time it happened, the manager was apologetic and explained the staff was new and they had a rough night. He comped the 4 pizzas and gave me a voucher for 4 more. I didn't do delivery when I ordered again because I was too leery of it. That's when I discovered the parking lot is a nightmare so I decided next time I will have it delivered. Delivery #2 was the EXACT same. I ordered the pizzas at 8:11pm with the approximate delivery time of 9:26pm. At 9:45pm I called to check and the girl who answered the phone said "it's on the next order to go out." I live 10 minutes from KK so I thought, "ok, it should be here soon." At 10:30pm I called again and the girl said it JUST left. I cancelled the order and asked for a refund. She was more than happy to refund me and offered me 2 pizza vouchers. She did it with such ease as if she does it ALL OF THE TIME which I am sure she does. I let her keep the vouchers and I will never go back. No pizza is worth a 2+ hour wait. I realize they don't need my business to stay afloat and I just assume help another local business instead.
