Walrus Ice Cream

Good ice cream with plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. Stopped in after eating Mexican food for dinner nearby. Large assortment of hand dipped ice cream flavors. There are no particularly unique flavors, but plenty of good classic options that are sure to please everyone in your crew. Located in Old Town Ft. Collins, in land locked Colorado, you will find a marine mammal named ice-cream shop, Walrus. Walrus brings a strong ice-cream game. Lots of great hand made flavors set Walrus apart from your average ice-cream joint. They offer 29 flavors in multiple scoops, waffle cones or in a dish as you wish. I had the Chocolate Cinnamon which was delightful on a crisp late Nov. evening. By the way, we didn't see a Zoo close by, yet the stench in the air suggested a Zoo was near, or at least a Walrus.

In town for a little weekend get away when we saw this place while eating breakfast across the street. Seeing it was called Walrus I knew we had to come back in the evening for some ice cream. The staff working was amazing, made great conversation, and served up even better ice cream. Super nice, local place. I’m glad to know there are other walrus lovers across the country! We will be back!

This ice cream store is worth stopping at. Whenever we drive to FoCo for the day, this is a nice treat. Today was one of those days. Good flavors and the malts are really good. The atmosphere is good and the serving staff were friendly and patient. I like that they have both inside and outside seating. - Edited as I was not aware that there was additional parking in the rear of the store.

This is a Fort Collins landmark, or it should be! All the locals will tell you this is the place to get the best ice cream. Also, if you're brave, try their joke flavor. I like that I can charge my electric vehicle in the parking garage nearby. It is one of the reasons I personally consider this place over all others. I also appreciate that Fort Collins is smoke-free, though their police could do a better job enforcing that policy. Thank you Fort Collins!
