Starbucks

Nice Starbucks, Independent shop, with seating area, and a display counter with coffee and some souvenirs. The sell sandwich’s , chocolates and cakes. They don’t have a lot of variety of coffee l to try. I was disappointed because all their flavoured coffees come in beans not grounded. The lady offered to blend it for me. I asked if can I taste one particular coffee if pay for it…She said I have to pay for the whole bag plus pay for the cup of coffee equal lots of money I said what happened if I don’t like it?. Strange that Starbucks make you buy the entire bag of coffee to taste it. Starbucks is a multimillion coffee chain. I end buying a Frappuccino… I came back with my family they ordered food and coffees. I had a mocha coffee was average. The place is clean

I frequently visit this Starbucks and have for years. My experience today was overwhelming as the new person behind the counter was persistently attempting to upsell my 5 year old daughter and came from behind the counter to talk to us unprompted. The last few visits an older lady has also been oftentimes confused and condescending. I have been a Starbucks customer since 17 and even a team member for near a decade through college and after. I don’t need a breakdown of what I’m ordering or an argument. I simply want to order my coffee and move on with my day. Update: The store manager and a shift saw this review and followed up with me offering an apology and several gift cards. They recognized me when I came back in and told me that they are handling the situation by providing extra training to the barista on Starbucks policies. This was customer service at it’s best and shows that they also care about their barista’s enough to work with them on what is appropriate and what is not.

I don’t write reviews, but I’ve just never had an employee of a place screw up and then treat me poorly. I ordered a pain black coffee with cinnamon and 3 splendas, but then watched as almost 10 people got served before me. I finally went up to ask about them forgetting my drink and they didn’t apologize, they just started making a new one. When she forgot the Splenda I mentioned it and she grabbed it and asked if I wanted a stir stick and to open the lid for her, so I said that it was fine and I’ll put it in so she doesn’t have to, she handed me the Splenda and stir stick and drop the stir stick to which I said that’s fine and thanked her and she scoffed.

Only two stars because I love doing work at these locations, and at least one employee understood the gravity of the situation. I noticed a potential electrical safety hazard, and pointed it out to one of the employees (Jackson) that understood the seriousness of the issue. He alerted the manager (Amber) of the situation and she didn't seem to care or worry about it. It was like she was missing the point and just wanted to argue with me. (the point being: it takes less than 1/4 of an amp to make your heart fibrillate) Furthermore, she then decided to complain about me (with some of the other employees) pointing it out to her. All I can say, is if someone does get hurt, or worse, and the parties involved discover that the hazard was pointed out to Starbucks, and Starbucks did nothing, something like that would be national news.
