Drunken Monkey

Crowded as hell. Still, after a few shots, won't bother you. I like the swings at the bar, the music is dope, and having the DJ in view of everyone gives it a different feel than many other clubs. The fishbowl drinks, not sure the name, are really good, but dangerous because of that. They are sweet and barely taste the liquor, so you are gone by the time you finish it, even with 3 others helping. The dance floor upstairs is not that good, but pretty chill at the back in the booths. Great place to stop at for the beginning of the night.

Got to visit this place when visiting from out of town and I was incredibly disappointed, considering I saw it all the time growing up before I turned 21. Bartenders were unwelcoming and had to wave one down to get their attention. Asked if there was a menu and was told no. Oh yeah, this was also Saturday afternoon and they weren't even busy. Their only gimmick seems to be their bar swings, which god help you if you accidentally bump the person next to you. I'm sure it's fun if you know some of the staff or are a frequent visitor here, I'd say skip the drunken monkey though if you want a more inclusive FoCo experience.

One of my all time favorite bars in Foco. The bartenders are always so nice and the atmosphere is always fun, everyone's dancing and having a great time and DJ is always on point. Not to mention my favorite part the swinging bar chairs, it makes it unlike any other place I've ever been before, love it!

I have been here on nights where the bar is packed and earlier in the evenings when no one else is around. The staff is friendly and accommodating and the seating is unique. I like the drink selection and the prices are fair. I feel like this establishment is starting to fade as it used to be quite popular.
