Butters Breakfast & Lunch

I only give Butters a 3 star rating because this was the second time going in. The first time was AWFUL TERRIBLE AND I wouldn't recommend it for anything. The service was terrible, the food took longer than 35 minutes to get out to me, mind you I was alone just 1 meal took over 35 minutes to get out. I left hungry, angry and late for work that day. However, today with my girls we went in for breakfast and had the opposite experience completely! The service was great, the food was quick to get out, the food was hot and DELICIOUS!!! The entire thing today was incredible. If my rating was based on only today it would easily be a 4 out of 5 star rating. The atmosphere is okay at best that's the only reason it wouldn't be a 5 star. Thankful I gave it another try, it was worth it!

I've eaten at the Butters Restaurant in Greeley. It was fantastic. This location is about half of what the other location is. Both in size and stature, if you know what I mean! I had Chicken and Waffles. The waffle was good. The chicken was very basic chicken tenders, probably out of a bag. And really unimaginative. Dry and too salty. I had to put syrup on the chicken to make it more edible. They did have a special today in which their mimosas were one half price. That worked out well for me! I probably will not return to this location.

Really really bad. The hash browns had cups of raw peppers tossed in and uncooked. More peppers than hash brown and no flavor added. Just tasted like chopped bell peppers. No seasoning not cooked, with warm potatoes slices mixed in. Was supposed to have churrizo, and if the tiny bits of meat found in it were churrizo it was the most bland churrizo I've ever tasted. Then the biscuits and gravy. The biscuits were raw...Like uncooked on the inside. Mooshy. Gross. The gravy on it was gross. Inedible. Not sure I've had a breakfast this bad ever.

I was starving on a beautiful Sunday morning, so I wanted an all American breakfast. At first, I thought of going to IHOP. But instead I went to Google and looked for a local breakfast spot with a good rating. I walked in just after 8am. It was not busy. I went all out and splurged on an expensive menu item: for $12 I got 2 large buttermilk pancakes, two strips of bacon, and two eggs scrambled. It got busy and it took a while to get my food. I was eating alone, so there wasn't a big order for my table. I got a sad plate of cool, rubbery, burned eggs. The eggs were obviously not fresh and had zero flavor. There was no seasoning not even salt. The eggs were very browned which is burned. The eggs tasted like burnt metal. Unclean flat top? The bacon was mediocre. Limp and tasted more of metal than pork. The pancakes were ok. I was only offered a syrup that I assume is corn syrup colored to be sold to Americans as maple syrup. Overall, I was sad. And then I had to leave a decent tip for the server because they did their job fine. I should have gone to Wendy's. In the end, I paid $16 for yuck.

Very angry. We (two people) came in at a not so bad time and ordered pretty simple items. We ended up waiting a FULL HOUR before walking out. Our food never came, the waitress ignored us and never came to ask if we wanted refills. We saw numerous LARGE parties that came in after us order, receive their food, and pay while we were sitting there waiting. By the time we got fed up and asked where our food was the waitress stated that it would be coming soon, like it hadn’t even been started. Hate to be stereotypical, but we’re never coming here again. The drinks aren’t even that good.
