This place is dirty. Menus have dried food in them. Windows and door have fingerprints and dried food on them. My coffee creamer was curdled and sour when I poured it in my coffee. This will be the first thing you notice when you walk in. This place is really the only breakfast restaurant in the area so its too bad. There seems to be a lot of regulars that come to chit chat but as an outsider I just kept thinking that this place needs a deep cleaning and a fresh coat of paint! I can only imagine how the kitchen looks aaaaahhhhhhhh. The waitresses were very nice but charged me a dollar for a "plate" when I took a couple bites of my 12 year olds toast??? I asked about it and she said owner said that if I didn't order and shared that's the charge! Sorry I did not share I just had a flipping bite.

Service is slow! Hole in ceiling. Soda machine hasn't worked in years. I would advise cash only. I was charged 200 dollars on top of the cost of my food. Got my money returned a week later but it was a joke getting it back! Had to show the owner my bank statement off my phone!

This place made my Saturday morning! The staff was so nice and made you feel welcome right away. The food was wonderful as well. Everything is homemade! I can't wait to go back.

Hidden gem serves authentic Mexican with great specials including Nachos Skillet. It's on my way to work so I've known about it for awhile now & I try to go once a month for breakfast

By far the best breakfast in Franklin, if not all of Milwaukee. Everything is hand-made and will awaken your taste buds. While it may look outdated and aged on the exterior and interior, you should not let that deter you.

Our waitress, Lori, was very helpful and friendly. The entrees were reasonably priced and the food was good. This is a truck-stop type restaurant.
