Moe's Southwest Grill

Last time I ate here I was transitioning from vegan to vegetarian and was so happy to eat cheese again. Their tofu and veggies are delicious. The tofu Joey bag of donuts with extra veggies did not disappoint. I'm not sure what other reviews are saying about portion size, because I ended up taking some home. All the different salsas is my favorite but the food is a bit on the salty side. Prices are getting pretty high, especially when there are so many similar options in the area. Now that I'm omnivore again I might be tempted to go elsewhere because of the prices and salty taste, but those days when the queso flowed once more were like a dream. The music and crowd was a bit for my bad nerves but that creamy cheese helped distract me. The staff was young and confused for a lack of better term. We had to tell them what went in the burrito and they kept turning to the big menu to recheck each item added. I didn't see a single adult over maybe 20 on the staff. They were pretty enthusiastic though and even with my social anxiety I was able to coach them through. They even offered to turn the music down for me. I shake when I'm nervous and the blonde kid who asked if I was cold was so sincere I just nodded and said yeah. Teach these kids what food they're actually selling and you got a grade A staff here.

Grew up coming to this location Moe’s with my family. The last three experiences here have been very poor. The first time they put meat in my vegetarian order. The next time I had to wait 30 min after my pick up time. This past time I had to wait 20 min after my pick up time while they helped people waiting in line. There is no point to order online at this location.

Well. I must say. I am a little disappointed at this place. I saw it on tv and I wanted to try it. So we did. First! Food quality is great. But the portion size is a lot to ask for. I order a kids meal chicken bowl and the amount of rice, beans and pretty much all of the items where for a like a 4 year old. My son was very hungry after eating his bowl.(he is 8th) the staff was not friendly at all. The "welcome to More's" shout was more like a whisper. Green sauce and hot sauce not as good. Place was clean and everything looking nice. But the service wasn't. That sucks because I Don't think I will go back again. I had much higher expectation about this place. Great queso! Better than chipotle I must say. And definitely a few more items. But the service and portions not to good. Hope they can fix that.

I go to the Frederick MD Moe's location at least twice a month. 6/25/22 will be the last time for awhile. The young lady working there wanted to charge me extra for sour cream because I asked for a little bit more. The little squirt she put on the first time wouldn't please anyone. The I ordered the medium queso and it was only 1/4 full and she mumbled something in another language. I wanted to tell them to just keep all the food but we drov30min to get this. We spent 50+ $ to. Never again.
