I'm really going to miss this place. The food was awesome, along with the staff. The Recreation Center was my favorite place to hang out and enjoy live music. Unfortunately they had to close there doors. 😥

We always like to support local. This is a small local bar since 1940. They have basic hot dogs, burgers, chicken, can beer and sodas - just like a rec room would. The fries are absolutely amazing.

This place is awesome. They had a fest of some sort when we were there. Bands played five or six songs and the next one came in. All full of energy and getting at it. Beers were reasonable and service was spot on. Great old school music joint. Nothing fancy, straight to the point.

Place is a joke. Morning shift was not bad at all and very accommodating, but when shift changed at like 3 or 4 I dunno maybe it was 5pm , they clearly didn't want "my kind" there and made it clear they would do nothing for us. Even was directly told "I'm sorry at night I have to focus on making a very specific crowd happy and that's it" . Pretty much just kids, with music very few like let alone has ever heard of, and that's all they will do or play, not negotiable. Worst experience ever. No wonder no one is ever there

I love this bar! Their chili dogs are great - definitely recommend those. They have the typical dive bar feel and the rest of their food is good (nothing to gloat about, except their chili dogs, but what you would expect at a bar and nothing less!). The new owner is such a sweet lady. And they need support now more than ever due to COVID hurting their business. Definitely a place to check out if you haven't before!

I order two chili cheese dogs all the way with fries and got one hot dog in each box with fries. I let the guy know and was told it comes with one hot dog, when on their menu on the site said the number 1 comes with two chili dogs all the way with whatever side you wanted.
