Flight Wine Bar & Cafe

Cozy spot in a strip mall with Mission Pizza and Spices! Their namesake Flights are four 4oz pours with a variety of pre-selected options like "malbec-zin" and "interesting reds" While the wines seem like a broad selection, the food we tried was pretty basic. Some fried stuff like fish & butterfly shrimp seems like frozen. Meat and cheese are cheddar, fontina, smoked Gouda, salami, etc. Satisfied, but didn't wow. There are also panini & Dutch Crunch sandwiches which I didn't try, but looked OK coming out to other people.

Had a quite night at the wine bar. It was nice, just what I was looking for. Music wasn't loud, wine was great, selection extensive. Had the artichoke hearts, hearty portion and perfect snack. Also had a nice conversation with the owner. My friends and I will be back very soon! Please support this adorable wine bar especially during covid times!

Disclaimer: I didn't try the $8 celery sticks. Maybe next time. The good: the service (it was great), the vibe, the wine, also I didn't die from the food. The bad: everything else. I ordered the chorizo crostini and the wings. The crostini was prepackaged processed chorizo and packaged crackers. The wings may have been the worst I've ever had. I swear they were boiled, as they were a slimy mess. On the plus side, I got the $8 celery sticks for free as a side to the wings? Tl;dr - come for the wine, skip the food.
