Reviewing a health system/service is an opportunity for me to appreciate the efforts of the providers who are providing the most precious services in the community. There are multiple buildings here and staff is very nice. Parking is a little bit tricky here so try to reach a little early if you want to reach at your appointment time. My family got vaccinations second and booster dose here. It’s crowded most of the time which means people really need these services more and more. Turn around time is more than what we expect possibly due to the crowd but should be improved to be honest. Parking is also tricky probably due to the same reason but no doubt it’s one of the biggest facilities in Bay Area. Last week also my spouse visited and it took almost 1.5 hours for the doctor to meet her.

I am a new member at Kaiser. I had my 2nd visit for a mammogram at 12pm. I went to wait in the building of my primary doctor about 11:45 I arrived . When I went to check in they gave me a map to walk to another building by the time I walk there it was 12:07, the receptionist stated it was too late but I told them I was on time , I had to walk to make it here and she said no and I asked to speak to the manager then she assisted me by letting me go ahead to get my test and did mention it was my screener’s lunchtime. I got to the mammogram and you should of seen Reshna’s face, I even told her she was very unpleasant, she had me fill a form with a rush, I accidentally drop the pen and repeatedly ask me to pick up the pen I told her don’t worry I am coming, then she had me go and change in this filthy dressing room I have pics full of dust and hair all over. When I got ready she was not smiling, still very unpleasant I asked her if there was someone else that could do my mammogram and she said no but as she was doing it there were a lot of pressure more than it usually is because I had done it before. I understand it was lunchtime do you have to be that insensitive and abusive toward a member specially I am a new member. I spoke to a lady because I was trying to report this incident since the manager was having this big meeting honoring the staff. But this is not acceptable.

This place has NO value for human life. I was feeling extremely unwell, and called to get some blood testing done. Without the approval of a doctor, they will not do any testing. Guess what, the doctor (Dr. Shukla) is on vacation for months and doesn't care what's going on with her patients. The substitute doctors are chilling in some other place, and aren't available for any appointments either. The nurses would make you wait on phone for hours, talk rudely and eventually hang up on you without providing any information or help. Victoria, one of the nurses I spoke with said we don't care if you were to die tomorrow. Yes, those were her literal words. So yeah, if you DON'T value your life and want to be a member of place which will be happy to ignore you as you fight for your life, go ahead and join here. EDIT: Spoke with Dr. Yasmeen Wengrow, and she told me that Dr. Vallari Shukla is "sick" and not on vacation. They saw the complaint, and are now LYING to cover up for it. This place should be banned out of existence for such blatant illegal and unethical practices. Everything here is for profit.

So I wasn't allowed to go see my significant other who suffered gran mal seizure n was admitted last night. He is not allowed any visitors. Now I know why. Coz he is sharing his room with another patient. Seriously u guys make big noises when it comes to covid. Not only he is sharing the room, other patient is allowed visitors. kaiser didn't want me there coz u guys r hiding ur double standards n unhealthy practices. How is this safe for my man?

I have been a Kaiser member for over 20 years. I will probably stay but this particular location is not the most impressive of the "chain". I have had 5 primary doctors in the last 10 years as they are obviously overworked and follow up is practically non-existent. Another issue is the lack of an urgent care clinic. It's either make an appointment and wait a week or go to the ER. Nearly impossible to see a medical professional for minor emergencies.

My family member was a patient at this medical facility. He was a kind and gentle soul who deserved a higher level of care than "supposedly" received. I do wholeheartedly believe that this family member would be living a full life on this earth doing what he loved. He loved music and reading Earnest Hemingway. He's in heaven watching "It's a wonderful life" and "Love Actually"
