Golden Pineapple

Ive walked by this restaurant 1,000x and never went in until last night.... OMG I was so happy we did, this place was WONDERFUL!!!! The customer service we received was 5++++! We even received a complimentary appetizer, on the house cause we were indecisive about which appetizer dish to order. Very kind of them! Our appetizers were delicious and the sauces that were served with them were flavorful, one was a peanut curry sauce and the other was some kind of Thai peanut sauce. Both were yummy.... For our main course we ordered the peppered beef, pad Thai & pineapple fried rice. The pad Thai was excellent and had at least 6 prawns & several large chunks of chicken, they were not stingy. The pineapple fried rice was served in a pineapple and it too had at least 6 large prawns it.... The peppered beef was delicious it has great flavor and went well with the rice. We really wanted to get desert but we were so stuffed from dinner we passed but they had fried bananas, maybe next time. However, I also ordered their Thai iced coffee which was creamy and made correctly. This place is truly a hidden gem! Thank you!

The food is great! It’s called Golden Pineapple but has a lot curry and basil in their food which is fine. The naan bread and curry sauce which (was called something else though) it was yummy! OMG, it was warm and soft and the sauce adds flavor to it! I also ordered the house fried rice it was ok, I can taste the basil too much though. But overall it’s delicious and I’d come again!

Horrible food (unauthentic and tasteless) and bad service when the restaurant got busy. We ordered the tom yum soup with coconut milk, the pearl noodle and the string bean with lemongrass sauce, all vegetarian version. The worst was the string bean, which came out trenched in this sweet and sour sauce and tasted nothing like lemongrass. The pearl noodle (mouse tail noodle) had a great wok smell, but was utterly tasteless. I tried multiple times to flag the waiters to get me some salt but they ignored me completed, most likely because it was busy and they were seriously short-staffed. I didn't give this place a one star because 1) I bought a Groupon, which made the price acceptable; and 2) I didn't try any of the meat dish and it seemed like there was a large selection of lamb and beef so maybe give some of those a try.

Food is good. I usually come for a quick lunch or dinner. This time i came for lunch.The roti parota is very good. I usually order 2 roti parota and one pineapple 🍍 fried 🍛. Thats more enough for 2 people. I also like the fri d banana 🍌. Thats also very teasty. The menu has different variety of dishs. Each dish look mouth watering.

I do not recommend and will not come back. The service was terrible. We had to get their attention for everything otherwise our order or check would never arrive. No one asked how the food was, if we wanted anything else, etc. We are not Indian so I'm not sure if that played a part because the couple next to us seemed to receive more service. The food was also not good. I'm not sure if it's considered Asian fusion or just an Asian restaurant, it doesn't say, but the chicken red curry was not Thai food. It tasted like an Indian curry flavor and had tons of vegetables like cabbage and potatoes and also tofu! I've never ever had red curry like that. Very disappointing. Also the price is about $13 which does not include rice which is another $2, not found in the menu. The noodle dish was ok. It was chicken and 3 shrimps. There are no knives at the table and the meat in general was too big for bite size portions The Thai iced tea was good, a basic easy drink. We used a Groupon at the end but wouldn't come again.

First time visit to this place. Went with my colleagues for lunch. Ordered a Basil Thai fried rice. I initially asked the manager to make it spicy level 8/10. And it comes to my table 1/10 spicy level. Then I requested her, can it be made more spicier? And she handed over me the bowl of hot chills ( I like practical jokes too, But i wouldn't do it on customer ). Any way the taste of the food still sucked and so is the ambiance and service. Not going again.

My brother invited me out for dinner to celebrate Mother's day. We ordered Belachan kangkung/eggplant,rendang curry lamb,and roti. Our orders came in 10-15 minutes. This restaurant is famous for their Roti and it is surely the best one I have ever tasted. I love their food. I came here before with my ex co-worker and tasted their dessert. We ordered the mango with sweet rice. This is definitely a place to go back to. It is a bit of a drive for me but it's worth it. Waiters (only 2-3) are good and attentive. Gives you an idea of what to expect on certain menu. But when it gets busy, it's a bit of a challenge to get their attention. Needs to change some furnishings.its bit out dated and has seen better days.
