Beef House

I had the chicken fried steak here with mashed potatoes. You can tell that the steak is store bought and was average. The potatoes were the most disappointing part. It was like cafeteria potatoes. Service was fine and seemed to have a good crowd of regulars. Maybe will need to try one of their house made meals.

I went to the beef house this morning for breakfast. So the breakfast I chose didn't cost me the usual $6.99 but $18.37, mind you it wasn't my normal order. I had to navigate there new menu. All I received was a plate of greasy hash browns. I've ate there for 40 years and I promise you I will never return.

This is like stopping in to see your grandmother..... and she cooks for you. Friendly faces every time you come in !!! Good food !!!! Great prices !!!! AWESOME "All You can Eat" specials !!!! 💖 Many Homemade classics !!!! My only issue is Please update your Website with your CORRECT DAILY SPECIALS & PRICES. 😥 I'm really sad to come for dinner, hoping to get one special, and then to find out that they don't serve that special on that day or at all .

Where do I start…this place was a disappointment. After googling where to go for a great chicken fried steak - this place came up. The restaurant itself is very run down. Seating is cramped and for the locals “who have their favorite spots” I felt like an intruder seating at the table we selected. Their only drinks that offer refills for free is tea, coffee, and water! The tea tasted old. The waitress we had - would interrupt you while you are ordering to tell you what they “don’t have”. How can you serve mozzarella sticks without marinara sauce? And how can you NOT have any marinara sauce at 4pm on your “all you can eat spaghetti” night? The chicken fried steak was “meh” I think the chicken fried steak at Grandy’s would be better. Lastly, while we were waiting for our food, our waitress had to have a “loud” conversation about an ex employee that worked there having a problem with her. She had this conversation on the guest floor with the manager. The conversation carried on for 10 minutes. This is not a professional staff nor do they try and provide a pleasant dining experience. Go somewhere else! Stay away!!!

I ordered the liver and onions, it had a good flavor but the liver was a little thick cut they could’ve sliced it thinner but overall it was good mashed potatoes were good the salad was really good I would go back. It’s hard to find liver and onions around this area so this was the only place that has good liver and onions
