We'd driven past here many times, and finally got food from here. We got a family pack and it was really tasty.

Really do love Zakis, I’ve been here several time and had wonderful F&Cs, excellent batter and crispy chips.
Today, not so great, chips had that tinge of yellow that you don’t want on your chips, fish was sub-par and batter was terrible.
Really hoping this was a once off.
Fast service and very friendly.

The last time I had tried Zakis Fish and Grill was well over a year ago, there meal we had then was quite ordinary with the fish being overcooked and dry. Well last night we felt fish & chips and having heard that Zakis had been taken over by new owners it was decided to give them another try
This time the fish was cooked to perfection with the batter golden brown and the flesh flakey and juicy. The chips where lightly salted. All in all thoroughly enjoyable. We'll be back and this time alot sooner.

Best fish and chips on Geelong, and always quick. They have stopped doing any kind of fish burger which is a massive shame as this option used be so much better than the fish wrap have on the menu now that's got too much creamy sauce. Bring it back and you can have an extra star!

Have tried Zalia twice in a week now, last Saturday was outstanding, the battered flake and minimum chips was fresh, tasty and good value. Had exactly the same tonight and it was the complete opposite, over cooked, batter full of oil, and didn’t taste fresh. Won’t be making it back next week.
