Tumbleweed Steakhouse

Tumbleweed restaurant has a rustic Vibe with the Horseshoes & Texas Stars hanging on the walls. It gives me a nice cozy warm feeling. The place is clean and in order. I always get a bowl of tasty satisfying chili. It should be an award-winning chili. I ordered the chicken breast with sauteed onions, mashed potatoes and green beans. Oh yeah, the dinner rolls are delightful. The sides were nicely seasoned but the grilled chicken breast was overcooked and a bit on the charred side. Tammy offered to replace my meal and apologized profusely. The staff is very friendly.

Whoever gave this place a 1 star rating is flippin crazy. Amazing medium rare 8oz steak with fried PURPLE onion rings. Pinto beans were pretty good and the molten white lava cake was a perfect end to our dinner. Oh and I almost forgot. I'm cold natured and normally have a jacket in my truck but since I wasn't in my truck I had no sweater. The waitress was so extremely sweet and gave me hers 😍

Ate Dinner there on 9-19-2015. This was our 1st trip. We ordered the 10 oz Sirloins with Twice Baked Potato & a Salad with Ranch Dressing. The regular Side Salad was good & had good Ranch Dressing, NOT the yucky bottle kind. Potatoes were wonderful. The Sirloins was about 4 inches round & 2 inches thick. Ordered Medium/Rare...It was cooked to Perfection! Service was Impeccable. Waitress was very attentive & quick. Manager or Owner came by our table just to check on us. I recommend you go there & if you've been before give it another try. We Definitely will be going back!

We have been here several times and have been very pleased, but were very disappointed this evening. All 3 of us ordered the special and it still took 30 min from the time we placed our order. The prime rib was overcooked, dry and only an inch thick. The last time we had the prime rib here, it was 2 inches thick, wonderful and I'm pretty sure it was $17.99 last time vs $18.99 this time. Our side salads were served with the wrong dressing and our vegetable side dishes were warm at best, the steamed broccoli didn't even melt the butter on top of it. We only managed to get one refill on our drinks the entire hour we were there, which she brought in new glasses, leaving the empties on the table. We did let the waitress know about the dry meat. She thanked us and gave us free desserts, but free dessert doesn't make me feel much better about a $90.00 meal that was not very satisfying. With the quality of service and food in decline and prices increasing, we are unlikely to return.

Maybe this place was once good but our recent experience there was not. Prices are higher than most I've seen anywhere around the area. When we were there, something was being repaired in the kitchen and it was a bit noisy. The lady who seated us was nice and apologized for it, but overall I don't think we'll be going back anytime soon. If we do, and if our next visit is better I'll update this review...

First time in, had a great experience. Chicken fried steak was great. Not salty. Good flavor. Good batter. Wifes steak was cooked to order after a quick re grill cause it didnt meet the ccoking order. Sides were well portioned and had a good selection of different sides. Drinks were well kept track of, and I'm one to go through my tea. My kiddo had the burger off the kids menu and he loved it.

Amazing steak. Cooked perfectly. Fried squash was good, broccoli was outstanding. Great spices coupled with a well seasoned steak tied everything together. Molten white chocolate cake and pineapple upside down cake topped off the meal nicely. Wife and I split a two for $25 special. WORTH. EVERY. PENNY.
