Sano Pizza

Sano currently have branches in Dublin, Cork and Glasgow and I’m most grateful we Glaswegians now get to experience some truly fabulous pizza. It’s Neapolitan simplicity but with delicious sugo and really fantastic flavour. I haven’t had pizza this good in a long time. Whilst other chains rest on their laurels Sano has stepped up. The restaurant itself is warm, open and relaxed. Never overcrowded and service is efficient. Location slap bang in the middle of the Finnieston strip so maybe call ahead on potentially busier nights. Lots of great deals on collection tho. A solid five star performance and highly recommended!

I used to like the place, I live nearby and it’s a good option when I’m lazy and would fancy a pizza! On average I had a Good experience but lately the pizza is always overcooked (carbonized) and the other day, too much. I didn’t really enjoy my pizza. Before going there, I checked the menu and the pizza a I was looking at was £10 but when they charged me, it was £12! The prices increased, got it, but it felt like being cheated. Summary, my last visit was quite bad experience, but the previous ones were not too bad, so I will give them 3 stars as an average.

First time at Sano Pizza. Surroundings were very pleasant. Staff nice & friendly. The server was extremely accomodating to the selection of 2 picky 12 year old kids. All 3 pizzas were very tasty, Coffee was very nice. Cost was fair too. However....... I would have given 5 stars if if wasnt for the fact that the middle of all 3 pizzas were falling apart due to being saturated. I like a pizza that you can cut, and pick up the slice. These fell apart. Outer part of the pizza was lovely and crispy, yet inner part was doughy and sludgy. As a result, we only ended up eating about half of the pizzas, leaving a mound of wet remnants on each plate. But I would still go back, and would definitely recommend.
