Steak Ministry Bar & Grill

Had dinner with friends, shared the Tomahawk steak (4 people). It was so good and we enjoyed it very much. As a starter we had the crab cake, which was very nice. The steak took longer than expected but we got a complimentary lovely chicken ribs. Cocktails we had were the espresso martini, lychee pearl and the elder flower power. all were good !! All dishes were well served and looked good ! The only comment we have for the restaurant is the toilets which we feel were not clean enough.

Not worth the price tag of a fine dining steak restaurant. The presentations of the food was nice but the taste and overall experience was not. We ordered the standard scotch fillet and asked for medium rare but most of it was medium and not much taste. We ordered a medium rare wagyu scotch fillet that’s $90 and it was definitely soft and almost melts in your mouth but for some reason the beef taste wasn’t much. The sides were also average and quite disappointing. Staff were friendly but overall as a steak lover I would not come back here.

We enjoyed a nice dinner here with friends. All of our steaks were cooked to our likings. The lamb ribs were especially delicious. The porcine mushroom sauce is absolutely amazing & pairs well with steak and the wagyu potatoes (also a winner!). Staff were pretty attentive & service was good. Only downside would be the set table/dining times that doesn't leave much room for flexibility either side.

Great to see this gem of a steakhouse has not missed a beat since the first time we visited years ago. Very accommodating with our large group booking even though I had to push my booking time to a later session on a busy Saturday evening. Service excellent as usual and steaks cooked to perfection just like all times.

Not impressed at all with this place. Food takes ages and also caused food poisoning! It took over an hour to receive our food, with plenty of other patrons receiving their meals before we did… Only after having to follow up with a waiter, we were told our meals were magically going to arrive in 2 minutes? Not even an apology for the unreasonable waiting time. No one came to fill up any water or update us about our meal until later. Even though we were some of the first people to sit down for the night. Overcooked steak is a bit unusual for a place with steak in its title and as it’s main dish. It wasn’t the worst. But not when you’re so hungry after waiting an hour, because then there’s no point when you have lost your appetite. Following our late meal, a member of our party got food poisoning… And we know it was from this place because it was the only change in his diet for a long time! The only thing worse than food poisoning is food poisoning that you actually paid a lot of money for. Not the first review I’ve heard regarding low quality food making people sick at this place. Will not be returning.

Visited Steak Ministry for the 1st time with my colleagues after many years of just walking past it. Impressed with the overall food quality - presentation, taste, quick service and general cleanliness. We started off with seared scallops, fried calamari and followed by scotch fillet for main, onion rings among other things as sides. Scallops were fresh, succulent and I couldn't just stop with one. One serve is 3 scallops. Delicious. Calamari was equally good. Tender, juicy and cannot recall one this good from my past experiences. Steak - yeah! Great. Overall very satisfied with the experience. The place felt a bit pricey but was worth it! Will definitely visit again! Thanks guys and keep it up!
