Nice refurb, it's a pretty rustic feel and quite fitting. Pool table at £1 a game, half decent beers on, good menu. I like.

Was here for a Bitcoin meetup the other day. Nice well decorated local pub, good selection of drinks, and yes they accept Bitcoin payments too!

Lush food, amazing atmosphere and really friendly staff! The landlord knows how to make everyone feel welcome and at home. Definitely recommend to friends and family.

Chef Dom bringing in a Sunday roast dinner to remember at the Tall Ship.
All cooked to perfection, the beef I had melts in mouth. The roast potatoes and parsnip crispy coated and soft inside. Season trio of vegetables, including creamy leek of goodness topped off with a yorkshire pudding and a delicious gravy. Accompanied with a homemade mustard.
Has to be, by far the best roast dinner I've had for a long time. Cant knock anything. Will go as far as being better than my mother's roast.

New year … new start … The Sunday Roasts at the Ship are back and my goodness they are back with a bang!!! Dom’s re started the food at The Ship with spectacular style - already booked us all in for next Sunday! well seasoned, beautifully cooked meat, and the perfect Yorkshire pudding. Best roast in Gloucester by far!

Great atmosphere and friendly staff! Really tasty food with a great range if drinks. Pool table, dog friendly, often live music, and now it looks the part too!! Cant fault it <3

The bar looks amazing after a major refurb! Great food from Mr Yip's kitchen , reasonably priced too. Definitely will go back!

Just been in after its recent refurbishment... omg amazing!
Very warm welcome from the landlord Sam and his lovely staff, even a high 5 from Frank the pub dog.
Great selection of beers, hubby was spoilt for choice, as was I with the gin. Mr Yips food was the best we've had out in a long time. The atmosphere was buzzy but relaxed.
All in all this ticked every box for us. We will definitely be going again and highly recommend.
