Luigi's Pizza

A hometown favorite! I came in on a whim with some friends who had never been. I hadn't been in over a year, and it was even better than I remember. The wait staff was friendlier and the food was still amazing! Thanks for a good meal, as always. And I'm sure my friends will hound me about getting them back in there!

I originally gave this place a 5 star rating. Now I give it a 1 star rating. My wife was not given good customer service at this restaurant. A couple of weeks ago, my wife went to pick up an order she had placed on the phone. She arrived and waited to be serviced, only for the waitress to skip over her and serve the guy that was standing behind her. My wife is black and the guy standing behind her wasn't. We used to enjoy ordering their food. My in-laws even came to eat here. Our family will no longer dine here or eat here. I am disgusted at how the owner and waitress handled this situation. While we will no longer eat here, I forgive both of them for being rude, racist, and not handling that situation properly. We will find a better pizza spot to eat at.

We stopped here on our way up to Chapel Hill, NC and it was a good idea! I enjoyed the pizza it was hot and fresh by the time we picked up our order. We got the special for the day and boy was it worth the stop! The crust was nice and crunchy and the sauce was seasoned well. The mozzarella stole the show for me it was extremely fresh and I know fresh mozzarella when I taste it! Absolutely delicious and definitely trying it again!

First time we called the man answered with an attitude like we personally knew him. We bypassed that after getting the order straight we realized he hung up on us. We called back because this our normal spot that taste close to NY PIZZA. We unfortunately got the same rude man we spoke to before. We then attempted to place our order; once we got to the end as he rushed us off the phone. we ask for the total he told us “ we don’t give a total over the phone”. Then we said we want to make sure we wanted to the bring correct amount. Because I was sending someone for it. He in return with an attitude saying “just bring $40-50 should cover The meal”. Safe to say they didn’t need our business. I’m so disappointed in these guys we eat/well we use to here regularly so I know that wasn’t the truth. I’m not sure who the guy was but he’s a poor example of nice establishment.
