Golden Chick

I gave Golden Chick 2 stars because the food was decent, minus the brick like roll we received. With that being said, my first MAJOR issue is with the employees. The LAZIEST group of employees I’ve ever seen in my life. We had to wait on the cashier to get up from the booth she was relaxing in, to come to the register and take our order. 5 employees and they were all sitting in booths in the lobby just hanging out and relaxing! Having worked in the fast food business before, I know that 5 employees aren’t on break at the same time. Manager included was sitting in the lobby. My second MAJOR issue, is one of the employees child (couldn’t be more than 3) was inside the restaurant sitting in the booths. The employees then allowed this barefoot child to WALK BEHIND THE COUNTER IN THE FOOD PREP AREA. If I were the owner of this restaurant, I would strongly advise to reevaluate his staff. I love the fresh hot chicken! My only thing is there is only 1 side and not 2 sides. It already is pricey with just 1 side and chicken. Now add another side to your meal and you are spending a fortune for your meal. The gravy they give is almost a paste. Yuck! I threw it away! A few things need to change. The chicken is good though!

The rudest place and service I have ever expierienced. I waited 15mins in driver thru before anyone came to speaker, when she did answer in the midst of placing my order she cut me off and said oh we don't have that much chicken to fill a family meal. I said it's 6pm she Ridley said well I have to check. I was told they could make the order I asked for a mix of roasted and fried. When I got to the window she stammered we don't have enough to do both roasted and fried I asked just to give me what she had in roasted and the rest fried she said we are all out. I asked her why she did mot tell me when I placed order and I got well I don't know. I told her they had horrible customer service to which she replied "what ever" and slammed the window. I can Eller my order and will never go back!

About three weeks ago I was at the drive through. I ordered the 25-piece Tenders. I was told, at that time, that there would be a 5-10 minute wait for the tenders, I told them that that was not a problem. However, then got to the window to pay, I was told it would be 15-20 minutes! That was way too long to way, so I went somewhere else. Yesterday, I decided to give them another try. When I pulled up, one car had just finished at the speaker and was pulling forward; and the car in front of me pulled up to the speaker. When I got to the speaker, a male voice said, "I'll be with you in just a moment." The car at the window received their order and pulled away. The car in front of me pulled up to the window. I waited at the speaker for five minutes. I timed it! I pulled out of line.That is way too long to wait at the speaker of a drive-through!! The service at this restaurant has gotten horrible. I didn't want to give it any stars, but to post a review you have to give it at least one.

We just went there & wont go back. I sadly had to goto the ER so was just ready to grab something for my kids to eat & go home.. Ordered they asked us to pull over & park. After we waited 45 min my husband went in to find out what was going on! Finaly got our food just to be a joke! Sides were not full & were dry. There was no gravy inside. Just sad not even a sorry for your wait not to mention we didnt get all our order!!!! We got the mixer & only got 6 tenders vs. 16 5 rolls vs. 8 4 chikens vs. 6 & when I callled nobody answered!!!
