Sweet-tea Celebrations

This place was wonderful! We've tried other afternoon tea spots, but the value and quality of teas here is fantastic. My mom and I love that we could reserve a table for the same day. We ordered from the unlimited tea menu and tried 3 very different but yummy teas: jasmine, chai, and a fruit tea. Their finger sandwiches, deserts and parfaits we're delicious. You never realize that by eating small portions, you truely get to enjoy the flavors and savor the tastes even more. Our waitress was so pleasant and interesting to talk to. My mom and I were both full afterward and genuinely enjoyed our time at Sweet-Tea Celebrations!

Absolutely adorable little tea house in Gulfport, perfect for a day out! We went for the Full Afternoon Tea and we had the whole place to ourselves which was so nice. I called ahead and requested all our treats be vegetarian and they assured me that was no problem. It's so important to me to be able to accommodate my Vegetarian best friend when she visits; I always pick restaurants and places that have real choices for her. As the friend who isn't strictly veggie and has had some questionable replacements, I was so very pleased that all the treats were delicious and definitely not the rabbit food some places try to pass off as a "vegetarian option," as we she!! You will definitely not leave here hungry! Every new thing tasted even better than the last, but my favorites were the mini quiche and the scones with cream. The hummus cups were also very yummy and I could eat them for lunch everyday, I think. I believe it came with unlimited tea and you could try however many kinds you liked, which my friend loved. I'm more of an iced tea person and the raspberry was so good, I sipped on it all afternoon. There were cute tea sets and doilies on every table and out on display, and they bring your treats on a little tea cart, you really get the whole experience here! Very friendly and attentive staff who was very knowledgeable about teas! It was a little chilly when we visited, otherwise we would have spent more time in the beautiful courtyard that was covered in murals that made you feel like you really were at a Garden Tea Party. Thank you for making our time there so special!!

Lovely place with excellent service. My friends,were next door shopping and I had missed lunch. I walked in, asked for something vegetarian to take out and within minutes a beautiful wrap with freshly cut up veggies was presented to me. I ate outside under an umbrella and when my friends saw my lunch they decided to go in and get some of the delicious tea cakes which they are before I could even take a picture

This tea room was divine! Quaint, adorable, and quite lovely. I went to Sweet Tea Celebrations today for a close friends birthday celebration, and I just fell in love! The location was perfect! It wasnt too-busy of a street. The parking was somewhat tight, but the tea room was made from a house, so it's understandable. There is parking behind the house or on the side. There is also a connecting antique shop which is adorable, and a courtyard in the middle that is lovely and relaxing. The staff was very friendly and knowledgeable. The food display was beautiful! They even had edible flowers! (See below) There was such a wide variety of tea's to choose from. I had their Lemon Ginger, and it was delicious! That's what I stuck with the whole time (bottomless tea 😉) The whole experience was one that I will not forget! I can't wait to come back.

This little gem in Gulfport should not be missed! I have been once for high tea, and back again for their $12 lunch. Everything on the lunch menu is $12! The place is charming, and the employees are welcoming and informative. We even got the full tea experience where they wave a fan over the different teas so you could smell them. Everything we had during our afternoon tea was delicious. There were scones, finger sandwiches, brownies, fruit, and more! I really enjoyed their house blend and my sister loved the creme bruleé tea the most. It was a wonderful experience all around.

This is an amazing tea room with outstanding food and staff! I went yesterday for the first time and it was so good that I decided to return today!! I got the tuna salad on a croissant with seasonal fruit! Everything tasted great and the fruit was all perfectly ripe!!! The first day, I had the Darjeeling tea and the floral nectar tea. The second day, I had the English breakfast tea, the raspberry iced tea, and the crume brulee tea. All of them were brewed very well and tasted great! All of the beverages are bottomless, and you can switch to different teas whenever you decide. Our server, Sue, was very kind and recommended us several places to visit nearby to where we were staying. She also was very attentive. The owner stopped by as well and talked to me about my own tea room that I work at. Next, I decided to get the cheesecake for dessert with fresh fruit on top. It was delicious and seemed to melt in my mouth. My friend got the scone and said it was the best she had ever had (it was blueberry). There was an edible orchid on top which added to the amazing presentation. If you are vegetarian, don’t worry, for they have a vegetarian wrap and salad.
