Iguana Bar & Restaurant

We had a work function here and loved it. Food was well cooked and presented nicely. Some at our table did mention that there was too much heat in the side dishes, which made it unpleasant. Portions were generous. My fettuccini was done to perfection . Not sure of value for money as the boss paid, so very good for me. 😁

I was extremely happy with the food quality and staff service! We got the Iguana entree share platter and the pan-seared salmon as takeaways (as we were unable to dine-in that night) and were amazed at the quality and complexity of the food! The entree platter came with BBQ pork ribs, glazed chicken wings, crispy halloumi sticks and fried calamari, along with a small portion of chilli and garlic king prawns and salad. Minute attention to details could be felt; such as crunchy, toasted peanuts garnishing the ribs, and small shrimp mixed in with the salmon's chilli coconut sauce. There was so much variety and volume in the share plate, we almost got full just off this! The manager in charge was very nice as well! We will definitely come here again to dine-in next time we’re down in Hamilton!

If you are looking for a group meal that will have something for everyone then Iguana is one of those places. It’s been around since as long as I can remember, from my poor student days til now. They have daily specials, from all you can eat ribs to steak nights. They do a decent pizza. All their desserts are pretty good. I’ve been here for brunches, lunches and dinners and I would say it’s a good place for most types of gatherings.

The definition of a "Quick Bite". The food service was really fast, hot and fresh. If you're pressed for time but looking for a tasty meal- this is the place to be. Most satisfying Lunch I've ever had. Friendly service, amazing food and a great vibe. The food arrived a few minutes after we ordered. I would definitely return. Kudos to Ryan the Manager, and the Kitchen Staff you are all doing an excellent job. Edit - I returned for a second time and am still impressed with the awesome culinary experience. I had the share platter last time, This time it was the Pepper Crusted Venison :)
