Mcdonald's

Used to have great service. Then the pandemic hit and everyone got so laid back at work and no one wants to really do the job they were hired for it seems like. Currently sitting in the drive through, it is wrapped around the building and only one lane open. Taking orders at the rate of about one car every 6-8 minutes. This place used to be so fast, would be in and out in just a few minutes. It’s really gone downhill

Last week I ordered a BACON mcdouble and got no bacon. Of course lobby is closed so you can't run in with a complaint so we had to wait 30 minutes in drive thru AGAIN. Got a new sandwich with half a slice of bacon and mayo and ketchup all over the wrapper. Today ordered a hamburger with ketchup and EXTRA pickle. Got 1 pickle. That's every time. Pickle shortage? 🤷‍♀️

Always excellent service. Was so impressed today I asked the lady changing the trash to speak with the manager so I could brag on her (she brought out toys for our two young kids as we shared an ice cream) and it turns out she was the manager! True servant leadership, literally willing to get her hands dirty for her team and customers! Will definitely drive out of the way to visit this McDonalds!

I stay away from fast food but occasionally when in a hurry I'm forced to stop at one of these. Today was no different, typical fast food restaurant issues, order 3 things, only get 2, ask for ketchup and none in the bag, no straw for the drink and no napkins. How the heck can you not read what's on a screen in front of you and add all the items on that screen to the bag??? Yet ypu deserve $15.00 per hour!!

Okay... I understand you've been to one McDonald's you have been to them all... But hear me out. We pulled up (2 lines, 5 cars total) it went so fast. I wish I knew the girl on drive thru. She was fast, prompt, kind. Up to the window, the cashier was pleasant, too our payment so quick and professional. Up to the next window, the next employee was right there with our food, before handing it to us she reconfirmed what it was with a smile and sent us on our way. We pulled out of the drive thru and my husband looked at me, I looked at him... And we both looked back to make sure we weren't at Chick-fil-A for how fast that was. For real. Fantastic job!!

We placed an order at the drive through at around 3:00 on a Wednesday afternoon. Ordering for 2 adults and 1 child. Service was fast and friendly. Food was fresh and hot. The inside was even open for eating. We do not live in the Harrisonburg area. We were here for a mid-morning appointment and decided to get something to eat after the appointment. The reviews were good for this location and they were correct. This was the best McDonald's that we have been to including other locations outside of the Charlottesville area, all over Virginia. The Charlottesville area does not pay enough nor do they have enough staffing to have the inside open during that time of the day, only for a few hours during the peek time frame. If we were to order food at the same day and time in the Charlottesville area it would be cold and not taste good, leftovers from earlier in the day. We enjoyed the trip and the food.
