The food were very good. I love their brunch. Trigo shakes was also great. The location was kinda hard go spot out with small parking lot. Staffs are very helpful and care about their customers. Would definitely go back.

This little place is always good. The girls are fast and very nice. The owners are very sweet always making sure that everything is going smoothly and that customers are happy. Prices are decent and food is amazingly delicious!!!!

The “huevos estrellados” could be better, the chips were hard and the eggs over cooked. It was hard to mix the eggs with the chips because the chips were hard. They can improve it.
The ice cold coffee with condensed milk was delicious.

Just left Trigo Cafe with my family. The staff was extremely friendly. We do not know a lot of Cuban meals, however, Julio and Kathy explained the menu to us and I could tell they were happy to do so. The customer service there was really on another level that I wasn't expecting.
The Cuban sandwiches were great. The Yucca fries are amazing. The croquettes and empanadas were so good you could just go there to have a meal of those (many varieties).
The Trigo Milkshake was very tasty--we would get again, it consisted of this unique puffed wheat milk combination that we've never had in a dessert before.
To top it all off, the dessert, which is made by the owner's 85 year old mother, is something you need to try. Oh, and the flan, it was truly the best Flan I've ever had!
We don't live around here but when we come back we will be coming here.

As soon as we sat down the server's question was "are you ready to order?" It was our first time so we didnt know the menu. When our high chair arrived it was really dirty and unkept. When our food was served we noticed the "skinny fries" that were on the menu were not "skinny", they were greasy and large, the steak was overly condimented, the french toast was not prepared at the moment but was a chewy tasteless bread that was obviously a frozen item to be cooked, the strawberries used on the french toast were soggy which means they were previously frozen as well, the toast got to the table 20 min after our plates arrived so they were late and were soaked in butter with no jelly on the side of course. The bathroom was dirty with roaches and had a soiled toilet seat. I do not recommend this diner. Their food has absolutely nothing special about it. Flavorwise you can cook the same items we ate, from scratch at home and the palatable experience would be exceptional in comparison. The service is also very mediocre. Dennys is across the street and eventhough service can be sketchy, foodwise you will have a more pleasurable experience on the palate with consistency.

Great coffee and pastries, the place is small and it feels really tight. Not the best place if you are planning to come work here or take a few calls. The place is loud and the people working here make you feel like you can’t stay. Felt really rushed and stared on while I took a work call. Unfortunate as the place is opening a tapas place next door.

Ordered Chicken & Waffle (2x Chicken). Best one of all of Hialeah.

Located next to a funeral home, your hunger will be buried at Trigo!
Set up with the classic Cuban cafeteria counter as well as a couple of sit down tables, it's reminiscent of the old school Hialeah restaurants. Start off like I did with their thin-cut, just crispy sweet potato fries (they have regular ones as well as yucca). The fries aren't overly greasy and have the sweet taste of the potato. Next up was their "49 St. Burger".
The cafeteria is family owned, and all the employees were attentive checking on me and the other patrons.
There are about 3 varieties of croquetas. I wanted to check out their manchego cheese ones, but was told that they had run out :( The ham ones were pretty good though. For my main, I enjoyed their chicken breast filet with plenty of onions & red peppers. My side toston (green plantain) was perfectly crispy and not salty, and of course I enjoyed their sweet potato flies.
In honor of the City of Hialeah's official dessert, I enjoyed their flan. Deliciously dense & flavorful, it was certainly worthy of the mayoral honor!
