Pollo Tropical

If you like waiting then this is the place for you! I ordered online for pickup at 5:35pm and I didn't leave until 6:25 because they deleted my order from their queue then decided to argue with me saying that I had just entered the store and wasn't waiting at the pickup location for 40 minutes. AND ON TOP OF THAT THEY FORGOT MY PLANTAINS. Do yourself a favor and spend the extra $4 to have someone wait for you for delivery instead of doing it yourself. You won't get that hour back.

Not the cleanest place. Didn't have napkins available, all tables were dirty. We asked to dine in but they still put everything in to go containers, and bagged it up. All of the trash cans were overflowing. They didn't get half of the order right. This is the third Pollo Tropical location I've been to this month. They are all like this. It's amazing they stay as busy as they are...

The food is decent but the restaurant gets very busy. Their drive thru usually wraps around the whole restaurant so its a good idea to order online before going to pick up. Also make sure to check that your order is fulfilled correctly because they tend to forget items. It's happened to me on several occasions.

30 minutes in the drive-through waiting for the driest piece of chicken, that is not even what I ordered. It came with the smallest amount of dry rice and and my fried Yucca looks like it has been fried, refried, under fried, over fried. I don't even know what all this black stuff on it is, just gross. Avoid the Homestead Location at all costs.

Previous visits lead me to drive out of my way tonight for this Pollo location but what a mistake. After waiting over 15 minutes at the speaker for a drive through order, the rep outside started taking orders at the end of the drive through line near Walgreens!!! Like what? Saying hello repeatedly, a few honks, no answer from her or the other coworkers outside. I drove ahead to the window and still NOTHING. I watched them talking back and forth, stacking cooked chickens, completely oblivious to anything else. I pulled away to avoid a verbal altercation. And I’ve been recommending this location. That’s done!!!!!
