Located in a quaint valley, Dave’s 209 is a simple restaurant that make’s delicious food. I have been visiting Dave’s 209 for the last 3 years. I always get the 1/2 # Rattler burger with bacon, jalapeño’s, cheese, lettuce and tomato. Fries are excellent, as are the chocolate chip cookies. I’ve heard many rave about the milk shakes, although I’ve never had one. Overall, I highly recommend Dave’s 209 for all.

My wife was taking wedding photos so the boys and I stopped here while waiting for her to finish. This was approximately a year ago so some info may have changed. I love that it is not so crowded people are on top of you like back in town and you have a pleasant view if you pick your seat near a window.

Great lunch on patio with our dog. Chicken tenders, cheese fries, Philly cheese steak, fries and burger for our dog. Milkshakes were so good that my husband actually liked my chocolate one better than his perennial favorite vanilla. Mine had hot fudge streaked inside the glas edges and also in the shake. We ordered inside and food was brought out to us on the patio. Pleasant lunch with a good view of the mountain.

My second time here..! We had scheduled work in the area and set aside time to have a burger here! I remembered how mouth watering good they were! I chose the Copperhead.. and made it a double! Fresh beef, grilled onions and mushrooms with Swiss cheese and more bacon than you can imagine! In anticipation, I wondered the Halls and enjoyed the old photos of the school and people had attended as well as the history of the Spring Creek area! When my food arrived it was all I could do to contain the juices flowing inside my mouth! The smell of the bacon & grilled onions.. the cheese oozing.. oh my goodness! After cutting into it, tasting the first bite.. I realized there was a master chef behind that burger! I asked Patsy, the server who was he met us with a friendly smile and offered explanations when asked. Sassy, the girl who cooked the burger, came out and met us! I told her how impressed I was with the quality and taste of the burger I chose. She appreciated me asking to meet her and given her feedback on the burger! We work for a local moving out of Asheville and was in the Spring Creek area on work. We will definitely go back to Dave's 209 when in the area again!
