Eddie V's Prime Seafood

We went for our anniversary and the food was delicious. The staff was very nice and attentive. Everything was served to perfection. I had the steak tartare and the scallops, both delicious. My husband had delicious lobster mashed potatoes, lobster bisque, and parmesan sole. The drinks are also very good! I highly recommend it. I can not wait to return!

My husband and I spent our 25th anniversary at Eddie V’s. It was such a wonderful experience. We can not wait to go back and try everything. Our server Johnathan was amazing and the food was so delicious. Truly the best! The only issue I had was there was no signage so we walked around in a circle before we found it. It’s up the elevator to the right. 😉

The food was superb as always. Service: Our waiter was great, on top of everything and didn’t forget anything. Food: From the bread to the margarita everything was very tasty. My husband ordered steak and lobster (pictured) and I actually ordered a lobster bisque cup however the chef served a bowl ( pictured), can’t complain. I ordered the turkey thanksgiving meal that was delicious and a very good portion. The lobster mash is very tasty with lots of lobster pieces. Our main course took a little bit to come out. Location: The chair had bread crumbs and there was pieces of bread under the table which they took care of very quickly. They were very accommodating when picking out the table location. Valet was subpar, very slow compared to any other time. They were not busy. It took a good 15 minutes after we got down to get our car even though we had called it 15 minutes before we head it out. I gave a 5 stars on all because I dot. Think valet is through the restaurant directly

My favorite restaurant in Houston. It never disappoints! Came to celebrate a career change and they made it very special! Everything we ordered was perfect! Save room for dessert! A few of my favorites - Crab Cake, Lobster Tacos, Truffled Mac N Cheese, Au Gratin Cheddar Potatoes, and the best bananas foster butter cake!

October 2023; Came here for dinner with a work group. Appetizers were pretty good. Tried the oysters on the half shell, crab cakes and the calamari. For my own dinner, I had a Caesar salad and the Chilean sea bass. Everything was very tasty. Service was very attentive. Atmosphere is like a traditional steak house... Overall, had a nice dinner.

Superb dining experience! We thoroughly enjoyed our meal last night at Eddie V's. The restaurant is elegant with white table clothes. The bar area has a small corner stage for live music. The oval shaped seating area is large with a TV for viewing sports (go Astros!). In addition to the actual bar top area, there are several tables and booths available. We were well taken care of by Rudy and Omar. The happy hour prices are decent. We enjoyed a glass of wine with our complimentary bread and butter while looking over the menu. The bread was very fresh and piping hot. Rudy made several recommendations for our meal. We finally settled on the tempura shrimp, jumbo crab cake and a dozen oysters. The service, taste and presentation were impeccable. The tempura shrimp come 5 to an order. They arrive on a little skewer stand with lollipop sticks. They had a terrific light crunch and were the perfect bite size starter. The crab cake is a nice size with a delicious spicy chive remoulade. It is a perfect item to share. We finished with 6 of the Gulf Coast oysters and 6 of the parmesan and panko crumb oysters. Both were delicious and fresh. As we enjoyed another glass of wine, I noticed the cocktails they were making across the bar for another guest were quite fancy. I enquired about the drink, so Omar made one for me. It was a smoked Old Fashioned made with a large cube of ice, Basil Hayden’s Bourbon, chocolate bitters, an orange twist, a cherry and served on a smoked plank tableside. I was very impressed with the way it was made and how tasty it was too. We finished our meal with a delicious sharable dessert. In the middle was a cube of Bananas Foster butter cake flambéed tableside. On one side was butter pecan ice cream and on the other, a warm Belgian chocolate cake. Once again, the presentation was fantastic. We enjoyed our full stomachs and sipping our last bit of drinks while listening to the live music. They were wonderful! They played toe tapping tunes you can sing along to. You could hear them throughout the restaurant, even in the main dining area, though it wasn't too loud sitting in the bar. The evening was perfect and we will definitely be back. I recommend this restaurant if you want a full experience, not just a meal. Thanks for the wonderful night, EV's. You guys really out did yourselves! Side note: they have a nice covered patio area at the entrance, but that will have to wait until Houston cools down.
