Juanita's Mexican Restaurant

We have driven by Juanita’s a zillion times. Saw a ton of cars there last week, so I told my hubby we just HAVE to finally check them out! We went in for lunch on a Sunday so, needless to say, it was very quiet. We were warmly greeted and seated immediately. The atmosphere is your typical TexMex restaurant style. I like that we could watch the Texans game during our lunch. We both ordered small frozen margs and one large queso with ground beef to share. The queso was pretty good. But the margs! Holy hell they were sooo strong! That was the strongest margarita I’ve had in a long while! Whoooo! Wow! As far as the food goes-my chalupas were delish! My husband ordered the enchiladas verdes with chicken fajitas—which he specifically mentioned to our server. His only gripe is that they came with shredded chicken instead. Other than that, the food was great. The margs out of this world. The service on point. And the atmosphere just right. We will DEFINITELY be going back!

Plenty of parking, great margaritas, and really stellar service. Our server was always attentive and tended to our needs quickly. I got the Birria Tacos and the chips n queso. Both were really great, would order again. Only reason I’m bumping down a star is because it seems a little overpriced for the type of food we’re getting.

This was our first time here. My family and I chose this place because we were ordering my kids' school instrument right next door, and we were hungry, so we decided to try it after seeing the good reviews. This place did not disappoint. All three meals were delicious. Both of their dips were good, and it's rare when a restaurant has two good dips, well at least for me. My daughter ordered fajita tacos. The meat was tender and well seasoned. My husband had the enchiladas, and he enjoyed them. I had the Acapulco chicken, and I truly enjoyed that. Their charro beans were also good, and I usually don't care for charro beans at restaurants. My only complaint was the prices, I felt like it was a bit much. The place is outdated, and the service was decent. Overall, we were happy when we left, and we would come back again.

The food is extremely delicious, very good portions we couldn’t even finish our dishes, I ordered the chicken al pastor and it was really tasty super juicy and cooked till perfection, the atmosphere is really good is a family place but the reason I gave 4 is because My husband and I went to Juanita’s for the first time and let the server know that, his answer was a really awkward silence and I think we missed the opportunity to present the menu and the happy hour for the drinks, so we decided not drinking and skip to the food, he also said nothing about any special or any dish, so we ordered it’s ok we are not royalty, but he was continuously having an attitude kind of rude, being ironic when we asked some questions that made us feel totally unwelcome and the busser guy was terrible too, I mean they did their job but didn’t have customer service at all, they unfortunately ruined our first experience in the there. However the place is really really good we would come back but definitely looking for another waiter.
