Red Lion Pub

We haven't been for awhile since we don't live close. We ended up splitting the baked chicken tandoori quesadillas. They were flavorful and the sauces were also good. They used to have more in them but they were still good. We will still hungry so we also had the one piece fish and chips Friday special. They were also crispy and hot. The restaurant has a lively, friendly atmosphere and our server, Norma, was excellent.

It's a cozy space with very interesting details in the interior design. It was right at 11am when we arrived for lunch & the host/server was very intent on watching the football game by the bar that I had to say 'hello' 3 times to get his attention. It was the bar tender who noticed us by the entrance & got the host/server to turn around & see us. It was our first time trying British food & it was good. The mini burgers were delicious.

I wish I could give Red Lion 10 stars!! This was our first time and the ambiance and food were absolutely amazing. We got the Sunday Roast dinner, both lamb and beef, and I can honestly say it's the best meal we've had our entire trip. Absolute fantastic and we will definitely be back again, possibly this same trip. Thank you for the excellent service and meal!!
