Estar Chinese Buffet

"Traveled all the way from Alabama to savor this buffet's diverse dishes, especially the shrimp – a seafood lover's dream! A bit awkward with the hosts struggling in English, but I'll give them the benefit of the doubt. Despite that, the food is amazing, the place is clean, and the recent addition of Menudo and beer was a pleasant surprise. Had a great time overall – I'll definitely be back!

Absolutely bada$$, consider I just had my dinner at Dimassi's 2 days ago (the Mediterranean Buffet), there is no comparison, this is at least three or four levels above that restaurant chain, that one has maybe like HALF aisle of variety of food this one offers, and this one offers five aisles each one is above and beyond the Mediterranean buffet offers ... the amount of customers every night and the other amount of returning customers (myself included) is a testament how good the food here. I'm sure not sure what's up with the rating here, I have been to a lot of restaurants and buffets around Houston area, this one should be around 4.7 to 4.8 - ish. It is comparable to the other Chinese restaurant close to Rice Village called Hu's Cooking (which have a 4.7 ratings) the quality of food is meticulously and it is all more impressive consider the massive crowd during the dinner time The rating does not do them justice consider how many customers they have because return customers I'm sorry that is just the fact

I had driven right past this E-Star multiple times, thinking it would be like any other E-Star in the Houston area with poor quality service, bland tasting food, and overall negatives across the scoring board. 🤔 Yet, my family and I decided to give this place a try given its high 4 to 5 star reviews. I am glad I did. This establishment has achieved something that no E-Star ever did... it provided excellent service, a gorgeous atmosphere, and most importantly, delicious food! 10 out of 10 off the bat. 🫶 ✨️ The Positives ✨️ 1. Excellent service: Staff was kind and provided my family with plenty of refills and guidance on how the establishment works. Especially because they have a neko (cat) themed service robot that (if you are lucky) will take you to your seat. 🐈‍⬛️ 2. The food was delicious, for each dish they offer each has its own personality and clear demonstration of the dedication the cooks put into making them. 3. The restrooms were gorgeous as well... oh my, the restrooms were beautiful, clean, and overall another great addition to the atmosphere this buffet provides its guests. 🤩😘 😐 The Negatives 😦 1. Well, actually, 0. Because there was nothing horrible or even inherently "bad" from this place. 👏

The service was great. The place was very beautiful on the inside. I love how the service is robots that are cats. I had no idea when you stay there an hour before dinner, you pay extra for the crabs. The outside of the place looks ok. The food was just like any other buffet food. Wish they could have the food fresher; like the bananas, Jello, chicken, and the cones for the ice cream. Overall, love this place and there are different foods to eat. 🫰🏼💝 ALL YOU CAN EAT!!!

You would think judging by this location that the food would be sub par but it's actually on point every time you come in. I've had it 4 or 5 times in the past few months because I'm bulking and it hasn't let me down yet. Food is always fresh and tasty. There's good lighting, clean bathrooms and helpful staff! Best time to come is 12-2 pm!
