La Lupita Taco Restaurant

This place was amazing the food was fantastic service was great. The margaritas were a little inconsistent, me and my wife order two the first ones came out I had more ice she had more drink, the seconds ones came she had more ice I had more drink. Other than that everything was amazing highly recommend to anyone!

PRO'S: La Lupita Taco Restaurant in a low key strip center location OVER delivers on fine interior Mexican tacos and other dishes. Low costs, high quality dishes are the norm in this restaurant. Very pleasant surprise. CON'S: Parking can be a challenge. We thought the frozen Margaritas were not exceptional. SUMMARY: La Lupita Taco Restaurant is a enjoyable, pleasant surprise. The high quality dishes will bring us back.

Went during lunchtime. I chose a special that included 2 tacos, potato, and coke. The food was delicious. Spot on. Always soo good. The potato is soooo GOOD! It's like a twice baked potato. The reason for two stars for the atmosphere was that the restaurant was a total disaster. I walked in, wondering where everyone was. Almost every table was dirty. Someone eventually came out and bused tables. It really was horrible. I will definitely go again. Hopefully, it will be cleaner next time.

Let me start this review by stating, I’m from north Jersey. So I’ve grown up around a lot of Mexican, Dominican, Puerto Rican, and Colombian food spots. From hole in the wall places, to well reviewed establishments. I can say none of them have come close to the things I have experienced here. The sauces they bring to your table are all on point. Ranging from spicy to just a bit sweet. The small tease of beans they bring out to you too is soooo flavorful. It gets the appetite rolling and prepare you for whatever you ordered. I had the barbacoa tacos, with the corn tortillas. My wife had the steak ones. When I tell you I tasted the love and passion in each mouth watering, meat melting bite. I literally was reminded of the day I first met my wife and had a moment of unrivaled bliss. Baby if you’re reading this. These tacos made me cheat, I still love you though lol. Honestly get down here to this place. It’s small, intimate, and filled with good vibes and even better food. I will always make this a priority stop whenever I’m in Houston!

Okay Tik Tok brought us to this place and I can say it didn't disappoint. The food was delicious and full of cheese and plenty of meat. They also have the red Mexican soda (Fruit Punch) which is kinda rare to see in restaurants. The service was really nice and attentive when taking our order and giving us what we needed. They also provided their opinion on certain foods we had questions about. The reason I give this place 4 out of 5 was because the server stopped attending to us after a while when there was only 2 families in the restaurant during the middle of the week and the fact the salsa doesn't come in a small bowl to dip the chips in only in bottles. But other than that this place was great and we will be back that is for sure!
