I tried the molé here and it was so good! Next time I will only order it with only rice. It came with beans but beans got in my mole sauce and messed up my mole! Molé doesn't go with beans, all rice for me. Also some other patrons had the chilaquiles and they looked delicious, came with fried eggs. I will try those next time. I got my order to go but next time will dine in.

Breakfast is always great here. Eggs are perfectly cooked. The tortillas are light. The sauces flavorful. Immaculately clean. Great service. Great food. And good vegetarian options!

One of our favorite breakfast spots! Absolutely delicious food!!! The tamales were perfect- the masa was light and moist. We tried the pork & black bean and cheese. We loved the chilaquiles!! Fajita was perfectly seasoned and the salsa's were delicious! Quick service and courteous team. Hands down best chilaquiles in Houston!

Went to this place the first time because my daughter loves breakfast tacos. Their breakfast tacos are DELICIOUS! Also tried their Nopales plate which is very good as well, cafe de Olla, churros - everything was top notch. The servers can be a bit slow and the plates are a bit pricey but totally worth it!

The name is why I came. I am always down for good tamales. I ordered one tamale, one carnita and beef taco. Everything had a good flavor. The tamale masa was well seasoned, and the pork was tender and well seasoned. My only issue is that it was mostly masa. I am not going to say anything negative because tamales are all made differently. Some people may like them this way.

Delicious breakfast of eggs and beef chilaquilas. I came back a couple days later and the manager (I think), remembered my order! Wonderful old-world food, friendly and welcoming atmosphere. Love this place!

The best tamales in Houston. I have been here twice and the flavors are amazing. This most recent time I had chilaquiles with egg and they were AMAZING. If they opened a location in the northwest. I will be there every week! Go, thank me later

This place is great! Don’t let the plaza it’s in fool you. Great customer service by the owner himself and fantastic food. Clean and quaint. Can’t wait to come again with the rest of the family. Had the chilaquiles with red and green sauce , fajita tacos, and huevos rancheros. Loved the refried beans and coffee.

Visited Tamales Don Pepe for breakfast and it was a pleasant surprise. The restaurant did a good job of getting the order and packaging out to go order. The presentation was nice and the food was full of flavor. I really enjoyed the mole enchiladas and the chilaquiles.
