Tandoori Nite

Severely underrated restaurant. I'd say it's some of the very best Indian cuisine in the area, with a wide selection of drinks, appetizers, entrees, even with great vegetarian options. All of the meat is tender and tastes great, and everything tastes so fresh and fragrant. Many thanks to Jassi and Yogina for their kindness.

Highly recommended! This is the best Indian restaurant in Houston! Everything is so good about it... the ambience, music, cleanliness.. everything!!! We ordered food and it took hardly 10 min to come.. the server DEV was amazing he was very friendly and helpful, the chef himself came out to suggest us what is good! We enjoyed every bit! I would definitely go again and again! Good job done to the entire team!

The food was very good, heavy with spices and cooked to perfection. Coming from New York where Indian restaurants are in abundance, it was nice to know there was one here that can compare on all fronts. The staff was courteous, attentive and friendly, and the ambience was peaceful and pleasant. I expect to go back soon! The tandoori mixed grill was exceptional and they catered to vegetarians, vegans and no dairy eaters which someone from my party was. The host had evened offered a tip to my family member who had accidentally splashed some vindaloo sauce on her blouse. A great experience if you’re in the area looking for great food!

Just fantastic. Houston needed another place with a passion for spice, as so many of the Indian restaurants have "toned it down". Not here! I included a picture of some favorites from this trip including pakora (more vegetable and spice than dough...), a mushroom dish, and the spinach (saag paneer). All spicy. The chicken from the tandoori, butter chicken, and goat curry were also delicious. My water glass never reached half empty. This will be on the regular list. The vegetarian dishes were fantastic.

The food here is quite delicious! On my last visit, I had the mixed grill. It came out on a sizzling skillet that finished charring the vegetables that were layered between in and the variety of meats in the dish. If the decor had been better it would be a full 5 stars from me. Also, don’t let the name fool you. There really are only a few curry dishes on the menu.

Wow...just W-O-W!!! Me and the missus just went here for dinner for the first time tonight and we can't say enough good things about this place from the service to the food!! Everything was Ah-mazing!! We recently moved to this area and have been apprehensive about trying new Indian restaurants because we've been thoroughly disappointed...well not tonight!! Tonight, expectations were BEYOND satisfied and its one best meals (outside of the home) we've had in months!! The service was fantastic! We felt very welcomed coming in and our waiter was so incredibly knowledgeable and detailed about our choices even recommending the perfect pairings! They were super attentive throughout the meal and we were completely satisfied! And the food...stop it!!! The food practically had us licking our plates, I've never seen my wife eat with such gusto!!! It was delicious!! We will DEFINITELY be back. The Curry House...more like The Curry Heaven!!! If you're looking for a place on the north side of the city...this is yet and even if not, its worth the trip!!
