Interesting store. They directed me to Hong Kong Seafood Market (same owners) which did have authentic Cordyceps which is extremely hard to find. This seems like an ultra luxury Chinese medicine shop for wealthy Chinese. The shop attendant did not speak English. The inside was clean. They have a significant variety of ginseng and a lot of herbs and medicines I've never seen or heard of before.

Interesting place. You can purchase firewood for $800 per pound. Just kidding! You can purchase dried wood product that would burn like kindling, for $800 per pound. Firewood you can eat... well, you can chew it or boil it in water to make tea. It is still wood. Wood-like. Unsure why it costs $800 per pound, or why anyone would ever pay that amount for something that is basically kindling. They also sell giant mushrooms for $25 each. Maybe per pound. Not sure. I would probably pay more than $25 to hire someone to cut down and remove giant mushrooms, if I found them growing in the back yard. I also found some neat snacks! They had "wife cake" and "husband cake". Not clear to me if the wife cake is supposed to be eaten by the wife, or if there is any forthcoming "baby cakes" or why they conspicuously lacked "boyfriend cake" and "girlfriend cake".
