Block Brewing Company

My husband and I were driving from the east side of the state back home to the west side and we happened upon this brewery. Sample a couple of beers and they were delicious, smooth and consistent. I ended up drinking a salted caramel porter and my husband had the red ale. We split the pulled chicken sandwich and had fries with it. The food was really good and I thought their house made barbecue sauce was amazing! It's nice and hardy. Not sweet at all. The service was good and the patrons were really nice and helpful as well. You got to try the beer in this place. It's really good!

Stopped in to grab lunch, and wasn't disappointed. I ordered the Block Burger. Cooked to perfection. Bacon was good and thick, the brisket was smokey and delicious. The side of Mac and cheese was a great compliment. Ordered a side of fries as well and dipped them with the signature sauces, all which were tasty. Hope to make it back there again this year.

Fantastic experience on a Sunday afternoon! I feel much more comfortable doing outdoor dining and they accommodated by seating my family on the patio. Our waitress was attentive and friendly. The food came fast. I loved the House barbecue sauce. This was one of the best sit-down dining experiences I’ve had since the start of the pandemic. Great job!

Second time visiting block brewing and it didn't disappoint again. They have a large nice bar with several TVs. My wife and I shared their pound burger with brisket bacon. Very tasty and easily shared. Craft beer offering is large, those I tasted hit the mark. Somewhat strange for breweries they do have Michigan live keno. Wouldn't hesitate a bit to return next time I'm in town.

Heard many great things about the place. It was good not great. Had pulled pork sandwich, wife had brisket sandwich. Meat was cooked to perfection except the meat needs more flavor, should not have to load up on sauce to help the meat. Coleslaw outstanding. Drinks watered down. Will think about coming back
