Shoprite

I'm disabled and having the ShopRite app on the phone really saves me from walking up and down aisles trying to find things. It's a big, beautiful store, very clean, well-lit and comfortable, temperature wise. The staff is always helpful and friendly. This particular trip, like a dope, I placed my phone down and walked away. The staff pitched in to help me find it. The manager on duty called it and two of the crew tracked it down for me. I was very grateful for that. In addition, the cashier I dealt with was so friendly and chatty, just making pleasant conversation. It was a nice evening in the store, as always.

When I return to my hometown from PA, I love to come to ShopRite. Not because of the friendly, skilled drivers in the parking lot or the countless people planning their dinner AS they walk through the store. I return for the great sales, especially with meats and the ability to coupon. I cannot deal with the setup and vibe of stores where I live now. They just aren't the same.

Great store besides the fact I’ve now gone twice in the last 3 weeks and the elderly lady at the self check out was so rude to me twice!! The first time she accused me very abruptly of not scanning all my items when the manger was standing right there and said I did! The manager then apologized for how the women acted but didn’t tell the women to not speak like that to a customer. The Second time she told myself and a co worker we couldn’t scan 2 orders at are register when we weren’t trying to she was simply removing her items from my cart to scan herself!! Then made it a scene to the girl she was training that people cannot scan more the one order at a time! She is rude and has no manners! If she doesn’t know how to deal with customers she shouldn’t have a job we’re customer service is key!
