Bbq Man

There is an aroma to The place when you walk in that has your senses confused. It's a smoky strong peppery smell. I sneezed a few times from the smell. However the food was good. They had a variety of sauces for your barbeque. The sweet was my favorite. The potatoes salad, hush puppies, slaw & fries were ok. I would give this place a 7 out of 10.

We have been going to this place for about 4 to 5 years....Always consistent and delicious!!! The pulled pork sweet and juicy never dry and always fresh. The Potatoe Salad always fresh and made daily. We always order alot of food to take home for two people What I would consider eastern NC BBQ....Keeps me coming back

I don't understand how this place was empty when my wife and i stopped in to eat. There were no other customers just the staff, which is a shame. The food was excellent, and i don't remember ever going to a bbq place and leaving satisfied as cheaply as here, $30 for me and the wife, and i had ribs. They have 4 sauces and a dry run they bring out, all of which are good, but the vinegar+mustard base is honestly the best. (My opinion there, it's at least worth a try, even if you're not sure.) I admit if you're not headed towards boone, it could be a hassle to get in here as you'll have to use the turn around, but if you want good bbq or ribs, or chicken, it's worth the effort
