Best Of Philly Cheesesteak

First time at Philly Cheesesteak & the experience was quite mediocre. There were plenty of choices however I wanted a Philly cheesesteak. Bear in mind, I have been to the place in Philly at which the sandwich originated and all else pales in comparison. My sidekick & I both ordered the regular Philly Cheesesteak to go. I also ordered a baklava (my weakness.) Upon eating these at home, they were tasty but not very flavorful. The meat was great but they really skimped on the cheese! I had to apologize to my sidekick that this first experience eating this Philadelphia favorite was very lackluster. The dessert - the baklava. I bake my own baklava & know what it takes to make it & this was the worst I have ever had! It was watery, no flavor & not fresh! I decided to microwave it a bit but that did not improve the dessert. Awful! Just plain awful! Lastly, when our cashier was placing our order, he was returning my change when a man manager strode through behind the counter talked to one woman then had our cashier turn around to look at a document & admonish him or train him on some error or procedure! Yes, during his interaction with the ONLY customers in the place about 730pm on a Friday night. The cashier already seemed a bit nervous with the public let alone be interrupted during a transaction! "Manager! Let the guy do his job THEN do your training or discipline!" **Overall, it's a no!** I would not revisit unless I asked for extra cheese & would not order any dessert there.

Tried them for the first time yesterday evening! Cheese steak was solid. Thought it needed more cheese, thats why I always ask for provolone and American. It was big too! The fried mushrooms were amazing! Best I've found in the area. Has a decent size dining area with a couple TV's. I'll be back for more fried mushrooms, and to try some other menu items.

Best subs around,: especially all of the the Philly Cheese steaks and subs. Great tuna. My only negative is that their chicken kabob pita sandwich was not spiced correctly and they skimped on the amount of meat. Please fix your tzaiki sauce because it's WAY too runny!! I suggest going to Greek City on Little Road if you're craving gyros. Otherwise, everything else I've ordered here over the course of 8 years has been excellent.

If you happen to cross into close to the middle of nowhere, nearby here (Hudson), then Philly Cheesesteak is a great place to try! For some reason, cheesesteaks always sound so good to me, but the image I have in my mind is never what they actually are- meaning what I think cheesesteaks are is not on par with how they actually are. So, when I got one here I had a different idea of what it would be, and of course, would you look at that, it wasn’t it! But it was still good- it’s what a Philly cheesesteak should be, but once again it’s not how I pictured it so I didn’t enjoy it as much and I really need to stop ordering them, lol... And if you’re still bearing with me through this review, I’ll also mention that I thought the Cuban sandwich was fantastic! Now, I do know what those are and I always like them, and I really recommend that sandwich if you like them at all too! But anyways, for my people who enjoy true Philly cheesesteaks, this place won’t let you down! Thank you for your time!

Just had dinner here and the family felt as this was a very delicious Philly cheese steak experience. We have held Philly cheese restaurants to a certain standard and this one has achieved and went beyond our standards. I got the steak bomb Philly steak sandwich and let me tell you it is definitely worth trying. I did not think the salami with the Philly steak would be a good combination but it was very delicious.
