Derby Lodge Table Table

We had my mother in laws 70th 'do' here and I can say each and everyone of the 45 us had an amazing time. The lodge was lovely, clean spacious with a great outside terrace we were able to sit out on, lower down the grassy area, the kids ran riot and it was marvelous as that area is enclosed so they can't escape! Also the terrace looks down on it. Lots of room for group bookings or cosy tables for couples. We had a catered for buffet whuch every one commented was lovely. I myself could not stop eating the battered mushrooms an desserts as expected delicious. The staff were marvelous, interacting with the little ones, all except one miserable staff member behind bar. He made you feel you were an imposition on his time but that was only a teeny tiny part of the experience. I would absolutely recommend this place as casual or parties or accommodation. Loved it. Can't wait 2 go again !

Sarah and her team do a fantastic job here. My cousin comes over from Jersey and always stays here. The family meet up while she is home. Nothing is too much trouble. The staff throughout the day are so nice, chatty and really helpful. Lots of the family drop in, we have meals together and enjoy a catch up. Lovely location and a great atmosphere

Absolutely a must place to visit for either a couple of drinks, Al fresco dining or everything in-between!! Amazingly friendly staff with great attention to detail, very quick service and if delayed you offered a round of drinks! I would absolutely agree with a capital R to recommend this as a must try place whilst in the area. Attached to a premier inn, the food, staff, and area are all together a great stop over location for a trip into Liverpool City Centre. Hope this information helps. The Reviewer

Great place to eat. Staff friendly especially Julie who was our waitress for the evening. She was lovely, attentive, but not overbaring. Toilets let the place down, as toilet tissue all over the floor, so could do with checking on a more regular basis. Food, drinks reasonably priced, so will definitely back again very soon. Sue x
