The cakes look terrific, however they don’t taste as good as they look. The owner told me that she doesn’t eat cake anymore, which is concerning for a professional baker. She needs to be taste testing what she feeds other people. My mother was very disappointed that we paid for a wedding cake that tasted terrible.

Amy is amazing! Her classes are informative and well worth the time. Cake decorating has become a major part of my life thanks to her guidance. The sugar shell is the only place to find certain cake decorating and candy making supplies.

I live in North Carolina and wanted to send my son a birthday cake at work. I wanted a Star Wars cake, so I ordered it, sight unseen. It was absolutely the coolest cake I've ever seen and was an absolute hit at his work. I highly recommend this business!

Exceptional customer service. Very clean and well kept store. She is willing to do what she needs to take care of her customers. Best selection for flavorings in Idaho Falls in my opinion. All your cake and candy needs plus over 30 years of advice from Amy. Definitely love this store!
