The service was the best part of the night, special thanks to Nick, he is amazing at his job. He was so friendly and accommodating, he went out his way to make us a margarita that wasn’t even on the menu.
Hope to see him next time.

Lovely friendly staff, very busy but didnt show they were stressed or similar. Service time reasonable considering the no's. Food hot and of good quality.

We had a big family gathering here & were looked after really well, especially by Rachael. Great atmosphere & menu with something for everyone, food served hot & fresh & tasty. Love the decor too. Amazing views too.

Our welcome to the Cow and calf was so warm , the bar and restaurant are excellent, my only observation would be to turn up the heating in the bar and restaurant and bedrooms during this cold spell , after sitting down stairs in a draughty bar area we went to our room to a window leak in room 4 , not much warmer. A new radiator heater was very kindly provided
The housekeeping is excellent ,
No complaints, just an observation.
Maybe yorkshire folk are hardier than us Southport folk? 🤔
Would love to stay here again, the views are stunning, and a lovely walk up the hill is a must.

Great place with great vibe and great food! We got mushroom and cheese as appetiser and Sunday Trio which was a very excellent Sunday Roast. Everything tasty and compliment each other! Place close to the Ilkley moor so you’ll also have a great scenery.

We visited Cow & calf for some breakfast this morning, we chose the English breakfast & Eggs Benedict, they we’re both well presented meals, the service was good and we will be returning to try out the dinner menu in the near future. 😊

This place is excellent! It's one of the best places I've visited in a long time. The food was delicious, and the old school building had a modern interior. The outside beauty of the countryside with mountains all around makes me want to return here for sure.
