Caplinger's Fresh Catch

I went here while traveling through Indiana and wow, they make some delicious food! I had the shrimp po' boy with fried okra and hushpuppies. The Sandwich was hard to grab but was very good, especially with the sauce they gave me. I think it was tartar sauce but it tasted a little different than how I make it. The hush puppies were crispy and so was the fried okra. It's been a while since I've had fried okra and hush puppies that were that good. The cashier was very friendly too. I bought some lobster bisque from the shop and I'm looking forward to trying it later.

I’m literally still sitting in the parking lot of Caplinger’s. Miss Becky was phenomenal she was polite and I love how you can see what you’ve ordered to prevent any mishaps. I also spotted some king crab legs for $180 vs $300-$400 dollars at Walmart. The selections were fresh and hot right out the deep fryer. I will definitely be back to get those king crab legs and oooooohhhhh check out the fresh salad spreads as well. Bravo you guy’s B-R-A-V-O👍🏾

I am a gal originally from the N.E. -Rochester NY, actually. I have meant to check this place out every time I go to my doctor's office near there. I finally went in and picked up lunch for my son and I to take home. I am now mad I cheated myself for so long. The lunch was fresh and delicious! They have an adorable and bustling dining in area . They offer a wide variety of salads and fresh seafood if the customer prefers to take the uncooked seafood and items meant to prep the food at home and make it themselves. They offer a variety of desserts for there or to take home also. The soft drinks are Pepsi. Lastly, each and every member of their versatile staff was so pleasant and ready to help. I will DEFINITELY be back!! Thank you for everything. 😁

I appreciate Molly for standing behind their products. It gave me a second chance to try their food. I had it 2 days in a row from Shadeland and Pendleton Pike. The fish was delicious I had catfish, perch and whiting. The whiting and catfish from Pendleton Pike was fried to perfection. The shrimp poboy was great! I will be back

If you want seafood that feels and taste just like you ate it by the ocean Caplinger’s is the place for you. I got the Caplingers special basket. It came with chipotle coleslaw, hush puppies, and fried white fish. The slaw was super tasty and different than any slaw I’ve had before. The fish was super flaky and tender. The hush Puppies were crispy and delicious. Overall I highly recommend taking a trip over to Caplingers to give their seafood a try.
