Steak 'n Shake

Only reason I'm giving it 5 stars is because the gentleman working the drive through, taking orders, money and cooking the food. Today, Sunday, August 6th we almost left because the inside was closed but went to drive through instead. We noticed only one person inside. This man was apologetic, said he is doing his best and didn't complain one bit. He nailed it, we didn't have to wait forever and our order was fresh and correct! We had better service than when there have been six people working! Steak and shake give this man a raise AND bonus!

This location has 2 stars but let me tell you.... Today was a five star day there for us! Ozzy with the long beautiful locs really showed us that this location really has potential. His leadership, customer service skills, and attention to detail was on point. He made sure our food was fresh and our chili was made correctly. When our food came out it was super fresh and lightly salted as we requested! He really brought the human aspect back to a business run by kiosks and robots. We really appreciated him. He was kind and humble and handled all our requests with a smile on his face. Thanks Ozzy!

The service was ok. There was an issue with my friend's coffee order. Apparently when you order coffee inside on the order kiosk, it doesn't show up for service on the screen in the back. The manager made a fresh pot and apologized profusely but she waited 15 minutes for a cup of coffee. The manager told us about the issue with coffee orders. I would think if they knew about it they would be working to fix it. It is a lot less personable without the service people.
