Pink Frosting Cupcakes

I tried a few cupcakes from here for the 1st time ever today they were ok. Not as moist as I hoped from reading the other reviews. They were a little dry a bit crumbly not really the texture I was expecting. The pricing was fair cupcakes could be a little bigger for the price. I normally go to Gigi's Cupcakes but wanted to try a new place. I will give them another try a different day hopefully today was a fluke..

I LOVE trying new cupcake places. This was the most disappointing cupcake I've ever had. I bought two. The vanilla and red velvet. For $3.75, it was way overpriced but most importantly, the vanilla frosting was TERRIBLE, no flavor, dry and tasted days old. The cream cheese frosting was better. The customer service was minimal. I'm sure the young man was ready to go home as it was close to closing time. Unfortunately, I would not recommend this place.

I don't know why my previous review disappeared, but I will type it again. I got a chocolate cupcake with white frosting. 1. The frosting (per the employee) was supposed to be butter cream. It did NOT taste like butter cream AT ALL. It didn't taste like butter cream made with butter or butter cream made with shortening and butter flavor. It didn't taste like whipped frosting or cream cheese frosting. It just tasted very, very bad. 2. The cupcake itself was not much better. It was very bland, not at all chocolaty or even sweet. It was also dry, though I couldn't tell if it was from being overcooked or stale. 3. The cupcakes were small and way overpriced. I have had much bigger and better tasting cupcakes at other bakeries in the metroplex for the same or lower prices. 4. The board lists a good 50-75 (if not more) flavors. The owner chooses 8-10 at random each month to make. That's all well and good, but it would be nice if there was a sign of some sort stating "flavors of the month" or the like. 5. The macaroons were also not good. 6. The employee was just there to run the register. She couldn't tell me anything about any of the cupcakes that weren't there in front of her, and even some of those she could not describe. In addition, she was not remotely friendly.
